Animals Are on the Case in the Trailer for “The Sheep Detectives’

The animals are on the case in the trailer for “The Sheep Detectives.” It’s clear from the opening moments of this trailer that the criminals had better be looking over their shoulders because not only are the authorities investigating, but so is a flock of sheep. Watch the short but cute and deliriously funny trailer for “The Sheep Detectives.”

Mysteries and whodunits have been and likely always will be incredibly popular. Who doesn’t love a movie, television show or book filled with twists and turns that keep you guessing until the end, when Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot or Nancy Drew spells out who did it, how and why? It really is hard to beat a well-written and original mystery.

Now, in most mysteries and whodunits, those investigating the crime are typically extremely intelligent, clever, perceptive, and detail-oriented individuals who can spot clues that others overlook. Another characteristic of those attempting to solve a crime or mystery is that they are typically human beings. This makes perfect sense, like, wouldn’t a human investigate a crime committed by another human? But what would happen if the investigators weren’t human, but were animals?

That is the case in the upcoming film “The Sheep Detectives.” A flock of sheep puts on their collective thinking caps after their kind and benevolent shepherd, played by Hugh Jackman, was murdered. The cute, four-legged soon get started but quickly discover it’s going to be much more difficult than they initially thought.

The sheep will have to contend with a whole host of questionable characters, including a bumbling and incompetent police officer, who needs all the help he can get. But it’s clear that despite all that might stand in their way, the sheep are determined to solve this crime and figure out who killed their beloved shepherd.

“The Sheep Detectives,” which opens in theaters on May 8, features an all-star cast. Hugh Jackman, Bryan Granstein, Emma Thompson, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Patrick Stewart are just a few of those in the movie.

“The Sheep Detectives” is rated PG for “thematic material, some violent content and brief language.”

Stunning Trailer for Disney’s Live-Action ‘Moana’

The stunning trailer for Disney’s live-action “Moana” gives audiences a look at the characters they know and love. This one, much like the original film, is sure to be a fun time for the entire family. Watch the short clip to get a look at Disney’s reimagining of “Moana,” a live-action version of the beloved animated flick.

Hollywood, if you haven't figured it out yet, loves itself some sequels. If a film does well at the box office, making even a marginal profit, you can pretty much bet that two to three years later, there will be a sequel that pops up at the theater. It makes sense. If it worked once, do it until it’s no longer financially successful. Movies are expensive to produce, and many involve significant uncertainty. Sequels are a way to reduce that uncertainty while also recouping some of that money.

However, sequels aren’t the only films that have made their way to theaters lately. In recent years, we’ve gotten a handful of prequels and even some remakes. As of late, Disney has even begun turning some of its beloved animated films into live-action adaptations. The latest one from the House of Mouse to get the live-action treatment is ”Moana.”

Some may not be familiar with “Moana,” but parents most definitely are. Nearly every mother and father is well aware of “Moana,” the 2016 original, and 2024’s sequel “Moana 2.” But come this summer, parents will no doubt become acquainted with another “Moana” film. This time it’s the live-action reimagining of the original animated film.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson returns in this version, and more than likely so do those catchy tunes from the animated films that you could not get out of your head. You know exactly which ones there are – the ones your children kept singing over and over, as if they were stuck on repeat or something.

Much like the animated “Moana” films, this one will likely clean up at the box office, raking in millions of dollars once it opens in theaters on July 10.

Moving ‘Heaven, How I Got Here’ Tells of God’s Powerful, Lifesaving Grace

The moving new film “Heaven, How I Got Here” tells of God’s powerful, lifesaving grace. Even in His last moments on Earth, after being tortured and hung to die, Jesus Christ was still saving and transforming lives. Watch the short but powerful trailer to get a look at the film “Heaven, How I Got Here.”

Without Christ, all of humanity would be lost, destined to be forever and always separated from Him. We would be condemned, destined to live out our days on Earth in our sin and shame, left with no hope and without a future. It’s only because of His love, mercy and grace that any of us have the opportunity at eternal life. It’s something that can never be earned, but instead, it’s a gift that is available for all who call upon His name and confess their sins.

Because of what Christ willingly went through at the cross, dying and shedding His blood, eternal life is possible. He took our place on that tree, being the sacrifice through which all sin can be washed away and forgiven.

“Heaven, How I Got Here,” a film starring Stephen Baldwin, tells the story of one of the two criminals who was crucified with Christ. Of course, one spoke out against Christ’s execution, saying that He had done nothing wrong to deserve such treatment. This criminal also asked Jesus to remember Him when He got to heaven. Christ responded by telling him that today he would be with Him in paradise.

Even in humanity’s darkest hour, when Christ was moments away from surrendering His life for the sins of all people, He was still saving and transforming lives. As the film’s website states, “this man had no works to offer and yet His salvation was only by the grace of God.” It’s through that very same grace that any of us are forgiven.

Classic Novel ‘Animal Farm’ Reimagined into Stunning New Animated Movie

The classic novel “Animal Farm” has been reimagined as a stunning new animated movie. This film promises to be one that the entire family can enjoy together. Watch the short but delightful trailer to get a look at the upcoming animated feature film, “Animal Farm.”

Books have, and probably always will, been places Hollywood turns to for ideas for its films. In fact, odds are pretty high that if you’re watching a movie or a television show, it was a novel and just adapted for the big or small screen. It makes sense why the film industry adapts books into movies and TV shows so regularly. A lot of people will already be familiar with the work, and, as a result, likely to have a built-in audience.

That is especially true for a classic novel such as “Animal Farm.” Written by George Orwell and published in the 1940s, “Animal Farm” is about a group of animals who, after realizing they are being mistreated, band together to oust their human owners.

However, after doing so, they create a power structure with very clearly defined rules. Of course, several animals assume power and control, claiming to have only good, the best of intentions. But as the animals soon find out, power corrupts, and ideas that were once considered good can be used for nefarious purposes. As the most famous and recognizable passage from the book states, “all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others.”

Animal Farm,” which opens in theaters on May 1, is rated PG for “thematic elements, some action/violence, rude humor and language.”

The film features an all-star cast, with the cartoon characters being voiced by some very recognizable and distinct voices. Woody Harrelson, Seth Rogen, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin and Jim Parsons all have parts in this new animated film based on the classic novel by Orwell.

Is This the Next Pixar Classic? Check out the Trailer for ‘Hoppers’

Is this film destined to be the next Pixar classic? Check out the trailer for the new animated movie “Hoppers.” This film promises to be a good, fun-filled time for the whole family. Watch the short but cute clip to get a look at the new Disney and Pixar animated film, “Hoppers.”

What if communicating with animals were possible? How would you react if you had the ability to know what animals were thinking and why they did what they do? Yes, I know some people, for whatever reason, already believe they can do this. But while there have been some incredible technological advancements, it’s not there yet.

However, what if we lived in a world where humans could converse with members of the animal community? What if we could understand what they were thinking and saying? That’s the idea behind “Hoppers.” While at first that sounds like a wondrous and incredible situation, as the old saying goes, “Be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it.”

In the opening moments of the film’s trailer, we are introduced to Mabel, the film’s 19-year-old animal-loving main character. She is then informed that a “revolutionary technology that gives us unprecedented access to the animal world” does exist. I’m entirely sure I would jump at the chance to try that out, but Mabel and I are not the same.

Soon enough, Mabel has her consciousness transferred to a robotic beaver, allowing her to communicate and interact with animals. There are sure to be plenty of laughs and hysterical jokes throughout what looks to be a most enjoyable film intended for the entire family.

“Hoppers,” rated PG for “action/peril, some scary images and mild language,” opens in theaters on March 6. The animated film features an all-star cast, including the voices of Meryl Streep, Jon Hamm, Dave Franco and Bobby Moynihan.

Stirring First Look at Powerful Epic Miniseries ‘The Faithful: Women of the Bible’

The stirring first look at the powerful epic miniseries, “The Faithful: Women of the Bible,” has arrived. Based on the newly released trailer, this faith-based series promises to be an uplifting, moving experience for the entire family. Watch the short but touching trailer to get a look at the miniseries, “The Faithful: Women of the Bible.”

Throughout the Bible, God subverts human expectations, often going against the grain and what many would consider conventional wisdom. When the prophecy of a coming messiah, a King, who would save humanity from their sins was foretold, likely many expected someone of power, riches and royalty. As you’ll read, that was not the case at all.

During Christ’s entire 33 years on Earth, He went against the grain again and again. He was born in a lowly manger surrounded by barnyard animals. To get from one place to the other, he either walked or rode on a donkey's back. He regularly congregated with sinners and society’s outcasts. He was a King who constantly served instead of being served.

God doing what would have been considered backward or wrong according to society can be seen in the Old Testament as well, as far back as Genesis. In biblical times, women were considered less than and looked down upon, but not by God. Throughout the Bible, women played prominent and influential roles. “The Faithful: Women of the Bible” looks at several of these women mentioned in Genesis – Sarah, Hagar, Rebekah, Leah and Rachel.

“The Faithful: Women of the Bible, a three-week miniseries starring Minnie Driver, premieres on March 22 on Fox and concludes on Easter Sunday, April 5.

According to IMDB, “The Faithful: Women of the Bible” is a series that “follows a faithful dramatization of the Book of Genesis as told through the eyes of courageous and passionate yet flawed women whose descendants would shape the future of faith.”

Proverbs 31:26 “Her mouth is open to give out wisdom, and the law of mercy is on her tongue.”

Powerful Trailer for ‘I Can Only Imagine 2’ Will Move You

The powerful trailer for “I Can Only Imagine 2” will move you. Be sure to bring tissues whenever watching this, as this moving and emotional film is likely to bring a tear or two to your eyes. Watch this short but impactful clip to get a look at the upcoming movie “I Can Only Imagine 2.”

Everyone has dreams and aspirations, things that they hope to one day achieve. So, if and when someone, through much diligence, perseverance and intensely focused hard work, achieves their dreams, what happens next? Likely, many do not think about that part. Perhaps, believing that they will become instantly and forever happy, with all of life’s worries, concerns and heartaches avoiding them forever.

Of course, that’s not the case at all. Regardless of what people do for a living, there is still pain, heartache and suffering in this fallen world, impacting all of us, no matter our status or profession. That pain and hurt will come for us even when we’re at the top of the musical world, as we see in “I Can Only Imagine 2.”

As the film’s trailer shows, after MercyMe received widespread fame and attention following their massive hit “I Can Only Imagine,” the band’s lead singer, Bart Millard, faces a family crisis involving his youngest son’s medical diagnosis. This, as described on IMDB, causes Bart to confront “struggles with his beliefs and inner demons while seeking a path through adversity.”

As all of this is going on, the trailer shows that Bart is dealing with a bout of writer’s block. It’s not enough to come up with one hit song; now people are demanding more and more songs that will match or even top the success of “I Can Only Imagine.”

Rated PG for “thematic material and some language,” “I Can Only Imagine 2” opens in theaters on Feb. 20. Also, the film features an all-star cast that includes Dennis Quaid, Milo Ventimiglia and Anjelah Johnson-Reyes.

Watch the New Trailer For ‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’

The new trailer for “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” has been released. Much like the first animated Mario film, this one also promises to be a good time for the entire family. Watch the short trailer to get a look at the upcoming animated movie.

Hollywood is constantly looking for material that can be turned into movies. Not only are they always on the hunt for possible film ideas, but they want material that already has a built-in audience - people familiar with it, and who are likely to run to the theater when the film opens.

Why do you think that as soon as a book hits the best-seller lists or becomes uber popular, a film based on the book is never far behind? While the written have consistently been, and likely always will be, a place Hollywood looks to for its movies, they have begun to expand into other areas as well. For instance, video games offer a wealth of material waiting to be brought to the big screen, including arguably the two most beloved video game characters ever: Mario and Luigi.

After the smash hit that was 2023’s “The Super Mario Bros. Movie,” you knew a follow-up was going to be coming. It was only a matter of time before a sequel would be ready for the viewing public. Well, that time has finally arrived. The trailer for “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” has arrived and has been posted on YouTube.

The trailer begins with Mario and Luigi’s archnemesis, Bowser, creating works of art as the two Italian plumbers look on in amazement. It’s soon revealed that Bowser is now rather tiny, as he shows off his latest work of art. Luigi gives his approval, while Mario is a little less receptive to Bowser’s creation.

Later in the trailer, Bowser Jr. arrives on the scene and intends to free his father from captivity. Mario and Luigi, not being big fans of his stated plan, will stop at nothing to keep the evil Bowser right where he is.

Rated PG and opening in theaters on April 3, “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” sees the return of Chris Pratt, Charlie Day and Jack Black for this sequel.

Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do, in word or in act, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving praise to God the Father through him.”

You’ll Want to See This First Look at the Upcoming ‘Toy Story 5’

You’ll want to see this first look at the upcoming “Toy Story 5.” Woody, Buzz, Rex, Mr. Potato Head, Slinky Dog and the rest of the gang are back in this latest film in the beloved Toy Story franchise. Watch the short but thrilling clip to get a peek at “Toy Story 5.”

If something works once, why wouldn’t you continue repeating that process until it no longer does? That’s precisely what most people do. Why would you ever go away from a sure thing? The simple, easy and most obvious answer is that you would not.

It’s because of that mindset and thought process that Hollywood produces so many sequels and remakes. If people keep turning out to see the sequel to this and that or a remake of this and that, more films of a similar type will populate the box office. No one is going to sink money into movies that no one wants to see; Hollywood wants to see a return on their massive investment.

So, knowing all that, we have “Toy Story 5,” set to open in theaters on June 19. The film stars the characters we all know and love from the previous four movies. Also, like the four other films, this is sure to be a good time for the entire family.

In a clip posted on YouTube, viewers get a look at the upcoming sequel. While the characters in the short video say next to nothing, we still get a pretty good idea of what the story will be about from the visuals alone. Much like everyone else, the toys will be confronted by electronics and AI, which threatens to change playtime as they know it. They will have to adapt to their changing world.

In the video, a mysterious box arrives at their home, and all of the characters look upon it in utter horror, fearing what might be in the container. When the contents of the box are finally revealed, it’s worse than any of them had imagined.

“Toy Story 5” features an all-star cast, including the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack and Conan O’Brien.

Nate Bargatze Shines in Hilarious First Look at ‘The Breadwinner’

Nate Bargatze shines in the hilarious first look at “The Breadwinner.” The popular funnyman takes his comedic talents from the stage to the big screen in a film that is sure to be a good time for the entire family. Watch the short clip to get a hysterical first look at the upcoming new movie “The Breadwinner,” starring Nate Bargatze.

Life is not always a fun or easy experience. Sure, as a child, life is a lot more fun and carefree. The biggest concerns for most children are “Did I get my homework done?” and “When can I go outside and play?” Beyond that, children have very few obligations and requirements, things they must accomplish on a daily basis. They are essentially free to do as they please, whenever they choose.

However, as we all know, life’s obligations only grow and multiply as we grow. That is especially true after we get married and have our own children. We quickly learn that a good majority of our time is no longer our own but that of our children and our spouse.  That’s precisely what Nate experiences in his newest movie, “The Breadwinner.”

In the trailer posted on YouTube, Nate’s wife has devised an incredible invention to help mothers better balance all of their daily responsibilities. To try to prove the effectiveness of her invention and whether the market will respond to what she has, she sets out on a month-long business trip. Nate is left to watch over the house and their three daughters by himself. He’s got this. What could go wrong? At least that’s what he tells himself, anyway.

Trouble starts brewing even before his wife leaves the driveway. This is only a sign of what is to follow as things quickly go from bad to worse. He gets himself in one outlandish, hilarious and unpredictable situation after another.

In addition to Nate, “The Breadwinner” stars Mandy Moore and Will Forte. The movie is set to open in theaters on March 13.

Proverbs 17:22 “A cheerful heart makes a good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”

Kevin James Shines in Heartwarming Trailer for ‘Solo Mio’

Kevin James shines in the heartwarming trailer for “Solo Mio.” The popular funnyman and “The King of Queens” actor stars in the upcoming film from Angel Studios. Watch the short but heartwarming and funny clip to get a look at “Solo Mio.”

Love is the most precious, most important thing in the world. Even in this broken, fallen and sin-filled world, love can and will overcome and conquer all. It’s only because of God’s love that we no longer have to remain and live in our sin and shame. We have a future and hope because of His amazing and inexplicable love.

Of course, love comes in many shapes and forms. There is agape, the selfless, never-ending love that the Lord has for us. However, there is also a brotherly love and a romantic kind of love between a husband and a wife. It’s the romantic type that immediately comes to mind for most people and all of Hollywood whenever the word love is uttered.

Once again, it’s the romantic kind that is depicted in “Solo Mio,” the new film from Angel Studios, starring Kevin James. As the trailer’s opening moments show, Kevin’s character is abandoned at the altar – easily one of the worst, most embarrassing things that could possibly happen.

But that is not where the embarrassment ends. Sadly, it’s far too late to back out on the honeymoon arrangements, and so, Kevin’s character goes on the trip that he and his then-fiancée had planned and intended to take together.

However, as the film shows, even beautiful things can emerge from seemingly hopeless and painful situations. While enjoying what was supposed to be his honeymoon, he comes across someone. This person might be the one he was meant to be with all along.

In addition to Kevin James, Jonathan Roumie and Alyson Hannigan are also in “Solo Mio.”

The film, which opens in theaters on Feb. 6, is rated PG for “some suggestive material, brief language, violence and smoking.”

The Story of David Comes to the Big Screen in New Animated Film

The story of David comes to the big screen in a brand-new animated film. “David” promises a fun-filled, good time for the entire family. Watch the short but awe-inspiring and jaw-dropping clip to get a quick look at the trailer for the film “David” about the legendary biblical character.

Throughout the Bible, we meet a slew of people who did extraordinary things, actions that are still discussed, debated, examined and studied today. Adam, Noah, Moses, Elijah, Paul, Samson, Matthew, John and Peter are just a few of the many we read about in God’s word.

God did miraculous things while using people as average as you and me. However, like us, those individuals were imperfect and flawed and experienced moments of weakness. Despite their failures and imperfections, God was still able to accomplish much through and with them.

Another person we read about in the Bible, who is a big part of the Old Testament, is David. David, a lonely shepherd boy, would become a legendary warrior after slaying Goliath with nothing more than stones and a sling, and was later named the king of Israel.  But he was also not without his failures and flaws.

The new animated film “David,” from Angel Studios, brings the story of the beloved biblical figure to the big screen. Audiences will watch in awe as the shepherd boy goes up against the massive Philistine giant and leads armies into battle. The film’s main character is voiced by none other than Grammy-nominated Christian contemporary musician Phil Wickham.

Rated PG for action/violence and some scary images, “David” arrives in theaters just in time for the Christmas season, opening on Dec. 19.  For more information on the movie, check dates and times and to purchase tickets to a showing, visit the film’s official website.

Don’t Miss the Powerful Trailer for ‘Oracles of God: The New Testament Story’

Don’t miss the powerful trailer for the new film “Oracles of God: The New Testament Story.” It’s a riveting look at how the second half of the Bible came together, how its message spread throughout the world and at the people who shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the masses. Watch the short trailer for a look at the moving and fascinating upcoming film “Oracles of God: The Story of the New Testament.”

The Bible is the inspired and holy word of God. It contains laws, directives, commands and instructions about daily living and how to handle this or that situation. It’s essentially an instruction manual, a guidebook for life. Closely adhering to and applying the Bible’s lessons, thoughts, ideas and directives to our lives will never steer us wrong.

However, while the Bible contains rules for daily living and how to interact with our fellow man, most importantly, it’s a story of Jesus Christ, the Savior sent to save humanity from its sins. The first half of the Bible, the Old Testament, foretells the coming of the Messiah, while that world-changing prophecy is fulfilled in the New Testament. Jesus Christ, born to a virgin in a lowly manger, arrived on Earth, instantly and forever changing the course of history.

The “Oracles of God: The Story of the New Testament” looks at how the part of the Bible that we now know as the New Testament came together. Through reenactments, an inspection of uncovered archaeological evidence and a handful of interviews with experts and scholars, the film examines how it spread throughout the world, those who helped share the Gospel and the individuals who wrote the books in the second part of the Bible.

“This journey through Scripture’s early history affirms not only the integrity of the biblical text but also the faithful legacy of those who ensured it would reach generations to come,” according to the film’s website.

A CBN Films production, “Oracles of God: The Story of the New Testament,” lands in theaters on Nov. 2. For more information on the film, for showtimes and to purchase tickets, click here.

Powerful, Moving Trailer For 'Sarah’s Oil’ Promises Film That Will Stir Hearts

The new trailer for the upcoming film, “Sarah’s Oil,” promises to entertain and stir hearts simultaneously. This film, which is based on a true story, looks to be one for the entire family. Watch the short clip to see the moving, heartwarming trailer for the film, “Sarah’s Oil.”

It is not easy to remain firm and hold steadfastly onto a belief when everyone else doubts and raises questions, which can and often do include the state of your sanity. Only someone with an unwavering, unbreakable faith could withstand such strong and determined opposition. Most people will quickly fade away when they come up against even the weakest, most shallow resistance. Many would rather go with the crowd and be proven wrong than to stand out, be ridiculed for it and later be shown correct.

Faith, as the Bible states, is the firm and steady belief in what is unseen by the human eye. Even when evidence for what we believe and know to be true is, at first glance, scant and limited, it is only faith that will cause someone to hold onto those beliefs. As the trailer for “Sarah’s Oil” shows, faith and a message from God keep the film’s main character going, despite all the ridicule and mockery she receives.

“Sarah’s Oil” is a film based on the story of 11-year-old Sarah Rector in the early 1900s, who explains in the opening moments of the film’s trailer that she believes the land she’s been given has oil underneath it. When asked where she came up with such a seemingly silly notion, she replies, “God.”

“God gave me the ears to hear it,” the young woman says.

Believing she is 100 percent correct, the young woman sets out to find someone to help her extract the oil underneath her land. Eventually, the young woman’s unwavering faith is proven correct. In fact, one character says that it might be some of the best oil in the entire territory.

“I’ve never seen anything like it,” the man says. “That field that you’re sitting on could be the richest in all of Oklahoma.”

This moving, heartfelt and tear-jerking film, “Sarah’s Oil,” shows the power and difference one person having faith can make. It hits theaters on Nov. 7 and stars Naya Desir-Johnson and Zachary Levi.

“Sarah’s Oil” is rated PG for “thematic content, some violence, language including racial slurs, a suggestive reference and brief smoking.”

Amazon Prime Releases Trailer for Animated Faith Series ‘The Chosen Adventures’

Amazon Prime has released the trailer for its new animated faith series, “The Chosen Adventures.” The series will bring the life and teachings of Jesus Christ to animation. Watch the short but powerful trailer to get a look at the upcoming series headed to Amazon Prime Video, “The Chosen Adventures.”

As parents know and understand, most children have the attention span of a gnat. They have way too much energy for someone so small and must constantly move about. Sure, they may be entirely focused on and super into this or that, but five minutes later, they are off onto something else. They have already lost interest in and completely forgotten about that other subject or object that captivated them just moments ago.

Despite their short, very minimal attention spans, all children seem to be entirely captivated and enchanted by animation. Cartoons are the one thing that will cause youngsters to slow down and stay in the same spot for longer than five minutes at a time. So, if you were trying to reach and minister to children, it makes sense to put the life and teachings of Jesus Christ into animation. That is just what the creators of “The Chosen Adventures” series have done.

The series follows the energetic and mischievous 9-year-old Abby and her buddy Joshua, who encounter a man praying alone in the wilderness while they looking for fun and adventure. That man just so happens to be Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. Following their encounter with the King of Kings, their lives will never be the same again.

Like many children, the trailer shows Abby, who is very inquisitive, asking questions on nearly every subject imaginable.

“You ask many questions,” Jesus says to Abby.

“And you answer all of them,” Abby responds.

The animated series, from the creators of the wildly popular show “The Chosen,” features Jonathan Roumie as the voice of Jesus. The series begins streaming on Amazon Prime on Oct. 17.

'GOAT' Animated Trailer Looks Like a Slam Dunk for Everyone

The "GOAT" animated trailer looks like a slam dunk for everyone. The upcoming family film will most surely be full of fun and laughs. Watch the short but exciting clip to get a look at the trailer for the new, upcoming film.

No one wants to be counted out, diminished and discounted simply because of their looks. Despite that fervent desire to be just given a chance, an opportunity, people do it to one another every day. It happens all the time. People will take one look at someone and make snap, instant judgments on that individual and their perceived abilities.

This erroneous practice even took place in the Bible. Several times throughout his life, people made snap, instant judgments of David. He couldn't possibly be king of Israel or defeat the great, legendary Philistine warrior Goliath, right? He's just a shepherd boy. As the Bible mentions, man looks at the outward appearance while God looks at the heart.

In the trailer for "GOAT," the main character, Will, is surrounded by people who quickly assess his ability based on his outward appearance. Will dreams of one day playing professional roarball, but no one thinks he can make those long-shot dreams a reality because he doesn't look like the other competitors. Well, Will is set on proving his doubters wrong, and when he's finally given the opportunity to show others what he's got, he does not disappoint.

Most of the time, one shot and an opportunity are all anyone is looking for, and all they need to show others what they can do. If you allow people to show what they can do, you'll likely be pleasantly surprised with the results.

"GOAT" features an all-star cast, which includes the voices of Patton Oswalt, Jelly Roll, Jennifer Hudson, David Harbour and Stephen Curry. The film will hit theaters in February 2026.

1 Samuel 16:7 "But the Lord said to Samuel, 'Do not take note of his face or how tall he is, because I will not have him: for the Lord's view is not man's; man takes note of the outer form, but the Lord sees the heart.'"
