Watch Jim Caviezel in the First Look at Epic New Film ‘Zero A.D.'

Watch actor Jim Caviezel in the first look at epic new film "Zero A.D." The new, upcoming movie looks at the cold, cruel and bloodthirsty King Herod ahead of the arrival of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. Watch the short, but powerful clip to see the official trailer for "Zero A.D."

Jesus Christ forever changed everything for you, me and all of humanity. He went to the cross, suffered, died and willingly took our place and endured our punishment. His death and resurrection bridged the gap, the divide between God and man, which sin had caused.

Christ's death, resurrection and birth are occasions annually recognized and celebrated by Christians worldwide. How could you not celebrate and jump for joy at the thought of the Savior's birth and impending arrival? Someone sent from God to save humanity from its sins, how could that not be exciting and something to look forward to? However, as the Bible makes clear, that was not the case for everyone, especially for King Herod.

"Zero A.D." tells the story of the birth and arrival of the Savior, Jesus Christ. The film also examines Herod, played by Jim Caviezel, who sought to have the King of Kings killed. Mary, Joseph, and the three wise men were all well aware of Herod's deadly and dangerous motivation for learning of the child's whereabouts and did what they could to avoid providing him with the information that he so desperately sought.

Herod feared losing his throne, power and all the earthly glory and honor that came with his kingship. He believed there was one and only King: himself. Anyone and everyone referred to as King would most certainly feel Herod's wrath.

In addition to Jim Caviezel, Sam Worthington, Ben Mendelsohn and Gael García Bernal star in "Zero A.D." The Angel Studios-produced film opens in theaters on Dec. 19.

All Aboard! ‘Pets on a Train’ Trailer Promises Fun for Everyone

All aboard! The “Pets on a Train” trailer promises fun and laughs for everyone. The animated children’s flick, featuring a group of cute, furry, four-legged critters, will surely have you on the edge of your seat while delivering fun and plenty of laughs. Watch the short but thoroughly entertaining clip to get a look at the trailer for “Pets on a Train.”

Who doesn’t enjoy a good heist movie? “Baby Driver,” “The Sting,” the “Mission Impossible” and “Ocean’s Eleven” films are likely just some of the few classic heist films that immediately come to mind. Heist films are typically very well written and directed, keeping you constantly guessing and wondering where the story is going or what the characters will do next.

I’d venture to say that if you’re a fan of mystery films or books, you’re also a fan of heist movies. There are a lot of similarities between those two genres. Viewers are constantly left wondering what’s going to happen next, having to pay close attention to nearly every element of the story. So, what happens when animated characters replace real, actual people on screen? That is precisely what happens in “Pets on a Train.”

In the trailer, posted on YouTube, Falcon, a raccoon named after a bird, which one of the characters in the movie points out, leads his gang of pets on a train for what is supposed to be a simple, mundane, routine heist. However, something goes terribly wrong because it’s a movie and would be boring if it didn’t. The animals are forced to improvise on the spot and devise a new plan.

Instead of living large and enjoying the spoils of their criminal activity, Falcon and everyone else must simultaneously find a way to stop an unexpected enemy and the runaway train. That sounds easy enough, right?

“Pets on a Train,” which opens in theaters on October 17, looks to be a good time for the whole family. The animated film is rated PG for “action/peril and some rude humor.”

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

Final ‘Truth Rising’ Trailer Offers Powerful Look at Upcoming Documentary

The final “Truth Rising” trailer offers a powerful look at the upcoming documentary. The new film shows what is at stake as some massive, well-funded sources try to change fundamental societal ideas and concepts. Watch the short but gripping trailer to get a quick look at “Truth Rising.”

It's been said that everyone has the right to their opinions, not their own set of facts. However, in recent years, it seems that many people are working from their own set of facts—many of which are not facts at all but opinions and feelings that are being passed off as facts and agreed-upon conclusions. This deceptive, harmful activity, where thoughts and feelings are considered fact, can be seen in many different areas and places throughout society.

If we as a society cannot agree on what constitutes a fact, then we are in big trouble. We will simply continue talking over one another and never come to an agreement on anything. “Truth Rising” is a documentary that the attempts to redefine facts and truth and other foundational concepts that people have relied on and agreed upon for thousands of years.

The film features interviews with and appearances from notable people such as Seth Dillon, the CEO of the popular satire website The Babylon Bee, and Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a bestselling author, free speech champion and human rights activist.

The documentary’s website describes the movie as more than just a film. Instead, “it’s a call to action at a critical time in our culture. As faith, identity, and morality are being redefined, this documentary exposes the civilizational moment we are living in.”

The documentary, which was made possible through a partnership between Focus on the Family and the Colson Center, will have its free worldwide streaming premiere on Sept. 5. For more information on the film and where to view it, click here.

John 16:13 “However, when he, the Spirit of true knowledge, has come, he will be your guide into all true knowledge: for his words will come from himself, but whatever has come to his hearing, that he will say: and he will make clear to you the things to come.”

Old Habits Follow Nate Bargatze as He Makes the Jump from Stage to Screen

Old habits have followed and stuck with Nate Bargazte as he prepares to make the jump from the stage to the big screen. For the popular funnyman, while filming an upcoming movie, he seemed unable to break this one understandable, given his profession, but still, rather odd habit. Watch the short but hysterical clip to see the habit Nate had an enormous amount of difficulty dropping.

Humans are creatures of habit and routine. We all have them and perform them on a daily basis, even if we don't realize it. Habits and routines are safe and comforting. They allow us to believe that we have some control over our day. Of course, that is not entirely true, but we all like to think it is.

While we all develop and constantly perform habits and routines, breaking ourselves of them is another story. Because we do them so regularly, we often perform them without even thinking about it. They become ingrained in us. In a hilarious clip posted on YouTube, Nate shows that he has an odd habit that irritated the cast and crew of his upcoming film, "The Breadwinner."

The film's director mentions that before filming began, he asked Nate if he needed help breaking any of his old habits. Nate insisted that he didn't need any assistance, saying that acting is "basically the same thing as doing stand-up." And that is the problem. Because he has been doing stand-up comedy for so long, a microphone would inevitably find its way into his hand, even when it made no sense in the scene.

Then, after Nate was banned from bringing a microphone on set, he and co-star Will Forte devised a clever way to get around that rule. However, Will asks that no one let the director in on his and Nate's secret operation.

According to the clip, "The Breadwinner," starring Nate, Will and Mandy Moore, will open in theaters on March 13, 2026.

'Light of The World' Shares the Story of Jesus in Moving Animated Feature Film

"Light of The World" is a moving animated feature film about Jesus Christ. The film, which is meant to be enjoyed by the whole family, depicts Christ's life, words and miracles.  Watch the short, but powerful clip to get a quick look at the new, upcoming film "Light of The World."

This world is a lost, fallen and broken place, full of people who are hurting, struggling and looking for someone or something to alleviate their pain and suffering. Sadly, that has been the case ever since Adam and Eve disobeyed and ate of the fruit in the garden, unleashing sin into the world.

While sin has utterly ruined our world, God made a way to bridge the gap, the divide that sin caused between Him and man. Jesus Christ, who willingly went to the cross, and suffered and died on the cross, was sent to Earth. He endured that brutal punishment and torture that we rightly deserved, giving us freedom from sin and the chance at eternal life.

“Light of the World" is a new animated film about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. However, unlike many similar films, this one is told through the eyes and from the perspective of John, the youngest of Christ's 12 Apostles. It's clear from the film's short trailer that, in addition to capturing all of Christ's many miracles, such as turning water into wine, healing the sick, giving sight to the blind and making the cripple walk, this film will be a good time, one that all will surely enjoy. There promises to be plenty of laughs and powerful, tear-jerking moments.

This film about Jesus Christ is aptly and correctly named because, as we all know, He is the light of the world in our dark world.

"Light of The World," Rated PG for "violent content and thematic material," hits theaters on Sept. 5

Trailer for 'Truth Rising' Documentary Promises a Powerful and Eye-Opening Journey

The trailer for the documentary, "Truth Rising," promises to be a powerful and eye-opening journey. From a collaboration between Focus on the Family and the Colson Center, "Truth Rising" is a film that looks at an ever-growing push to completely redefine fundamental, foundational concepts and ideas in the United States and throughout the world. Watch the short but moving trailer to get a look at the upcoming documentary.

It's been said that the only constant in life is change. While change does occur on a continual and perpetual basis, not all change is created equal. Some of those alterations will have a much greater, more significant impact than others. Change can be good, and change can also be bad, resulting in potentially damaging, devastating consequences.

"Truth Rising" examines some of the changes and directions currently being pushed by powerful entities that seek to alter and redefine foundational truths completely. In the documentary that looks at how some in society are trying to redefine bedrock concepts and ideas, Os Guinness and John Stonestreet talk to a lineup of recognizable and influential men and women to get their thoughts and perspectives on what is currently taking place in society.

But it's impossible to move forward without first examining the past. The film also explores some of the greatest, most powerful civilizations the world has ever known and examines what led to their downfall and destruction.

"All the great civilizations of the past can only be found in three places: they're in ruins, they're in museums or they're in history books," Os Guinness says in the film. "Great, though they were, they rose, and they declined, and they fell."

The film also offers steps and solutions that anyone can take to slow and even help reverse this growing trend of a full-blown, complete and total overhaul of things like morality, faith and identity.

"Truth Rising" is scheduled to begin streaming globally on Sept. 5.  For more information on the film, and where to view it, click here.

Imagination Comes Alive in the Trailer for ‘Sketch’

An imagination comes alive in the trailer for the film “Sketch.” One youngster’s drawings literally take on a life of their own, leading to more than a little bit of chaos and madness for everyone involved. Watch the short but awe-inspiring trailer to get a look at the upcoming film “Sketch.”

Growing up, every child makes extensive use of their imagination. It gives children the opportunity to learn, explore, build and strengthen those creative muscles. Often, a child employing their imagination comes in the form of imaginary friends when real, actual people are unavailable to play with. In other instances, children use art supplies to create wonderful, fantastical beings and whatever else may happen to pop up in their minds.

So, what would happen if those childhood creations ever came to life? What if those drawings took on a life of their own? If that were to happen, nothing would go wrong, right? Well, maybe not. In the trailer for the movie “Sketch,” that is the exact scenario that takes place, and it causes trouble and panic for nearly everyone.

“Sketch” shows what happens after a little girl’s notebook full of strange, imaginative drawings lands in a pond that somehow brings her creations to life. You might think everything would be OK, but as the trailer shows, this is not the case. The child and her family are forced to confront the youngster’s drawings, which have literally taken on their own life.

The film clearly shows just how powerful imagination is. It can bring about fun and even fake, imaginary friends, and it can even bring about chaos and possible destruction of an entire town.

“Sketch” looks to be a fun-filled time for the entire family, with one laugh after another. The film, opening on Aug. 6, stars Tony Hale and D’Arcy Carden, and is rated PG for “scary action, some violence, thematic elements, language and rude humor.”

‘The Senior’ Trailer Delivers a Heart-Tugging Story of Redemption and Second Chances

The trailer for the film “The Senior” delivers a heart-tugging story of redemption and second chances. This will surely be a powerful, moving film that will have tears streaming down your face as you reach for the tissues. Watch the short trailer to get a look at “The Senior,” which is based on a true story.

If given the opportunity, most people would go back in time and correct their mistakes. They would take care of those regrets and approach situations differently, hoping for a different outcome that doesn’t gnaw at them and keep them up at night. While being able to right our past wrongs would be ideal, it’s not possible. Technology has not yet reached the point where we can travel back in time.

However, in “The Senior,” one man, Mike Flynt, attempts to do just that as he tries to make a college football team at age 59. In the trailer for the film, which was posted on YouTube, it’s revealed that nearly 40 years earlier, Mike was kicked off his college football team for fighting. Despite his age and trying to keep up with young men who are more than half his age, Mike is determined and refuses to give up.

The trailer also hints that there may be other motivating factors at work for Mike. While looking at a framed jersey on a wall in a darkened hallway, Mike states, “It’s not about winning.” His wife also admits she “knows why you got to do this, and I’m with you.”

Near the conclusion of the emotional, tear-jerking trailer, Mike makes it abundantly clear that he is attempting to right his wrongs and atone for his mistakes.

“We’re not defined by our successes,” Mike says. “We’re defined by our regrets, and I’ve had a ton of them – as a teammate, as a husband, as a dad.

The Senior,” starring Michael Chiklis, Rob Corddry, and Mary Stuart Masterson, is rated PG for “thematic content, violence, language, and a suggestive reference.” The film opens in theaters on Sept. 19.

'Soul on Fire’ Trailer is a Stirring Reminder of the Power of Hope in the Hardest Moments

The trailer for “Soul on Fire” is a stirring reminder of the power of hope during life’s most challenging moments. This film, meant for the entire family, will encourage and inspire you. It will also leave you reaching for the tissues to wipe away the tears. Watch the short but powerful and moving trailer for the upcoming film, “Soul on Fire.”

Life is not always going to be a fun or an easy experience. In fact, some instances will be downright painful and unpleasant. Not every circumstance will have you jumping for joy. But what will you do when those moments of hurt, pain and struggle arrive?

Based on the life of author, speaker and podcast host John O’Leary, “Soul on Fire” tells the story of his being badly burned as a child and what he was able to do and accomplish despite his horrific injuries. It’s a story of love, hope, faith and refusing to give up even when the odds are not in your favor.

Near the trailer's beginning, a character states that John has suffered burns to 100 percent of his body. His statement and tone make it clear that all hope should be abandoned. However, the encouragement and kindness John receives from other characters help spur him on to a life of purpose and of inspiring others.

One line from the trailer, spoken by John, perfectly sums up the hopeful, uplifting and encouraging message and feel of the film.

While going through a house requiring extensive work, a young woman asks John, “Why would a man who can’t hold a hammer choose to be a contractor?” John replies, “I guess I like to just see houses for what they can be, not what they are.”

Starring William H. Macy and John Corbett, “Soul on Fire” opens in theaters on Oct. 10, 2025. The film is rated PG for “thematic content including burn injuries, some peril and suggestive material.”

Romans 15:13 “Now may the God of hope make you full of joy and peace through faith, so that all hope may be yours in the power of the Holy Spirit.”

'F Plus' Makes the Grade in The Trailer For This Family Film

“F Plus” makes the grade in the trailer for this fun-filled, family film. The laughs are expected to abound in this upcoming film about a group of children who unleash a plan to retake an all-important schoolwide exam. Watch the short but hysterical clip to get a look at the new film “F Plus.”

In a perfect world, children would go to school, acquire and then apply the knowledge their teachers dispense daily, and that would be the entirety of the educational experience. What more would students and teachers need to do? Teachers would be teaching, and students would be learning, with both fulfilling their duties.

However, as you may have already noticed, we do not live in a perfect world—far from it. Instead, there must be a way to gauge how well the students have grasped the information. Also, because governments are responsible for doling out the money to schools, there has to be a way to determine whether schools are succeeding or failing in their endeavor to educate children. And so, that is why we have statewide, mandatory testing. Everyone’s favorite!

In the trailer for the film “F Plus,” posted on YouTube, a group of students who fear they didn’t do well on a recent statewide exam devise a plan to retake the test, hoping to achieve better scores the second time. Before taking the test, the children were informed that it was “the most important test in your middle school career.”

Their mission seems impossible, which is why, if they are to succeed, it will require an intricate, well-thought-out plan. Even after their plans are finalized, it will still take a lot of luck, focus and spot-on execution to make it all come together. Will they succeed?

According to IMDB, “F Plus” is rated PG for “some rude material.”

‘Little Angels’ Trailer Promises Heart, Hope and Big Wins

The “Little Angels” trailer promises heart, hope and big wins. The film about a college football coach who suddenly finds himself coaching a 12-year-old girls’ soccer team will be one for the entire family. Watch the short clip to get a quick look at the film “Little Angels.”

Just because a thought enters your mind doesn’t necessarily mean you must vocalize it. We all know people who, for whatever reason, do not seem to grasp or understand that idea. There’s something to be said for keeping your mouth shut at times. Refraining from adding one’s thoughts and opinions is often the best route.

However, Dean Cain, whose character Jake Rogers in “Little Angels,” feels it necessary to express his thoughts on many subjects, including soccer and female athletes. Because he insists on commenting on subjects that don’t impact him, he is suspended from his position as a Division I college football coach.

In the clip posted on YouTube, Jake is ordered to perform 50 hours of community service, which ironically includes coaching a 12-year-old girls’ soccer team. After meeting his team members, it quickly becomes clear to Jake and everyone else that this group needs work. It will be Jake's greatest coaching performance if he can turn these young ladies into a winning team.

Like in every other sports movie, the coach will teach his players and gain knowledge and wisdom as well. He will try to teach these girls and himself the game of soccer, and in the process, he will likely learn some life lessons himself. For example, near the end of the trailer, one person informs Jake that life is not all about winning.

“Little Angels” looks to be a fun-filled family film with plenty of laughs and heart.

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

Fan Favorites Are Back! Beloved Characters Return in ‘Zootopia 2’

Some beloved animated characters are set to make their return in “Zootopia 2.” The film’s characters, many of whom are fan favorites, will be back on the big screen fairly soon. Watch the short clip to see when moviegoers can expect to see the Zootopia gang back in theaters in their latest film.

Where would Hollywood be without the sequel? The number of films that find their way into theaters would be significantly less; that is undoubtedly true. If not for sequels, AMC, Regal and Cinemark theaters would be nothing more than half-empty places where Marvel movies are played on an endless loop.

Sequels have always been a popular go-to for Hollywood, and if audiences keep turning out for them and continue to shell out good, hard-earned cash, why not? Hollywood will only keep making what people pay to see. But within the last several years, Hollywood has taken their sequel game up a level, producing follow-ups to films that are decades old (“Betelgeuse,” “Top Gun” and “Mad Max”).

Nearly a decade after “Zootopia” hit theaters, Nick, Judy and the rest of the gang are back for “Zootopia 2.” In a clip posted on YouTube, fans get a quick look at the long-awaited sequel from Walt Disney. While none of the characters utter a word in the nearly minute-and-a-half clip, the visuals make it clear that Nick and Judy will surely get into more hijinks and unpredictable, laugh-out-loud situations.

The brief video does not provide any details about the story of the upcoming animated film. However, right before the clip concludes, viewers are informed that “Zootopia 2” and its cute, animated cast of characters will be hopping into theaters in November 2025.

"Zootopia 2" features the voice talents of Jason Bateman, Ginnifer Goodwin, Shakira and Ke Huy Quan.

New ‘Smurfs’ Trailer Promises a Fun-Filled Adventure

The new trailer for the “Smurfs” film promises to be a fun-filled adventure. The beloved little blue critters are back for more fun as they make their return to the big screen. Watch the short but hysterical trailer to get a look at the Smurfs' latest movie.

Most people could easily name a handful of animated characters if asked to do so. The odds are also good that most of those cartoon characters will be associated with Disney in one way or another. That makes perfect sense. Disney films are the movies that many youngsters spend their childhood watching.

But in addition to names like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy, others like Yogi Bear, The Jetsons, The Flintstones, Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck would also be frequently named. Included in that list of beloved animated characters would most certainly be the Smurfs. Those tiny, blue, odd, elfish-looking critters are also favorites of many. They must be. Why else would Hollywood continue to produce films about the little blue beings?

“Smurfs” is the latest in a long line of films about the blue-colored cartoon characters who closely resemble the Keebler elves and Snap, Crackle, Pop from the Rice Krispies cereal. In the trailer posted on YouTube, the evil Razamel unexpectedly kidnaps Papa Smurf. This, of course, sets the other Smurfs on an adventure to rescue the elderly member of their community.

However, this will not be just any rescue mission. The Smurfs must do the unthinkable: leave the friendly confines of their wooded village and cross over into the real, human-inhabited world.

The nearly two-and-a-half-minute clip shows that this will be a fun, laugh-filled, adventure-filled film for the entire family. The animated flick lands in theaters on July 18 and features the voices of Kurt Russell, John Goodman, Nick Offerman, Octavia Spencer and others.

Neal McDonough Gets Back in The Saddle in 'The Last Rodeo' Trailer

Neal McDonough gets back in the saddle in the trailer for the film, “The Last Rodeo.” The movie looks to be a powerful, gritty tale about family, confronting the past and putting everything on the line for the ones you love. Watch the short but powerful clip for a look at “The Last Rodeo.”

Life is full of twists, turns and detours. While we may plan and prepare for the future, life often has other things in mind. Situations and circumstances can change instantly, and all our plans immediately go out the window. What matters at that point is how we respond. What will we do next when things don’t go according to our plan?

“The Last Rodeo” is about what happens when life disrupts our plans and inserts uncertainty and chaos into the situation. In the film, Neal McDonough stars as Joe Wainwright, an esteemed but retired professional bull rider. Joe’s relationship with his daughter, Sally, is strained, to say the least.

As the trailer indicates, Joe’s profession seems to be a big reason for their troubled relationship. Sally informs her father that she doesn’t want her son, Cody, Joe’s grandson, to have anything to do with bull riding. The scars on Joe’s body reveal that his dangerous profession has taken a massive physical toll on him. Joe clearly has no plans to get back in the saddle, but as it often does, life has other plans.

After Cody suffers an injury on the baseball field, doctors make a startling and frightening discovery. The young man badly needs to undergo an expensive medical procedure, but the only way to pay for it is for Joe to get back on the horse and risk his health and safety in the process.

“The Last Rodeo” opens in theaters on May 23.  According to IMDB, it’s rated PG for “thematic elements, language and violence.”

James 1:12 “There is a blessing on the man who undergoes testing; because, if he has God’s approval, he will be given the crown of life, which the Lord has said he will give to those who have love for him.”

Vince Vaughn Serves Up Heart and Humor in ‘Nonnas’

Vince Vaughn serves up heart and humor in the new film, “Nonnas.” The popular funnyman stars in the Netflix film about food and family. Watch the short but heartwarming trailer to get a look at “Nonnas.”

Food is an essential aspect of life. Without it, we’d get sick and would eventually perish. We all need a daily allotment to become and stay healthy. Food literally fuels our bodies and gives us the energy to function and remain active.

However, food is much more than a means of remaining alive. Many people attach memories, feelings and even smells to particular dishes or cooking in the kitchen. Food is often an expression of love. I’m sure you can easily come up with a dish or a meal that has memories associated with it. When you enjoy that bowl or dish, those memories and feelings come flooding back.

In the trailer for the film “Nonnas,” Vince Vaughn's character tries to bring that feeling of love and nostalgia to others. This drives him to open an Italian restaurant where the food is made by Italian grandmothers (Nonnas is Italian for grandmothers).

In the trailer's opening moments, we learn that Vince’s character has recently lost his mother. He was going through his mother’s and his grandmother’s recipes when he suddenly realized that “food is love. " Soon after that epiphany, he came up with the idea to open the restaurant. But he finds out that opening a restaurant is easier said than done.

As the trailer shows, Vince must continually step in and get between his constantly bickering and argumentative elderly chefs. At one point, Vince and his four cooks are waiting outside the restaurant as firefighters hose down the restaurant.

“Nonnas” looks like a film full of laughs and heart. According to IMDB, it’s rated PG for “suggestive material, language and thematic elements.”

The film begins streaming on Netflix on May 9, just in time for Mother’s Day.

Pixar and Disney’s “Elio” is shaping up to be a must-see family adventure. The upcoming animated film will likely be one the entire family can enjoy. Watch the short but entertaining trailer to get a look at the latest movie from Pixar and Walt Disney, “Elio.”

Everyone wants and needs a friend. Having friends makes life a fuller and richer experience. They are shoulders to cry on when life knocks you down and gets tough. Friends are also the people who celebrate with you when you’re on the mountaintop. Friends are blessings from the Lord Himself – yet another way He touches and impacts our lives. Who wouldn’t want someone to have fun with and talk to?

No matter your age or stage in life, everyone needs a friend. Anybody can be a friend, and one of the best things about friends is that they can and usually do arrive when we most need them. As the trailer for “Elio” shows, friends can even come in the form of aliens and when we’re visiting other planets.

Elio is a young man obsessed with outer space and convinced that aliens exist. He so strongly believes that aliens are real that in the trailer’s opening moments, he actively tries to be abducted by aliens.

However, it’s also revealed that Elio has had trouble making friends. He’s lonely and badly wants to fit in somewhere, and his aunt is overwhelmed by his most recent behavior, which includes skipping school.

As luck would have it, Elio’s wish for an alien abduction comes true. He’s slowly taken up in space and goes on to explore some truly out-of-this-world locations. During his travels in space, Elio meets Glordon, an alien creature who also has issues making friends.

Like many of Pixar’s flicks, this one looks like it will also pull at your heartstrings and make a good amount of the audience shed a tear or two.

“Eilo” lands in theaters this summer on June 20, 2025.

Disney Reimagines ‘Lilo and Stitch’ for a Live-Action Adventure

Disney has reimagined “Lilo & Stitch” for a live-action adventure. The beloved animated film has gotten a makeover, with a live-action version making its way to theaters. Watch the short clip to get a look at the new, updated version of the classic Disney film.

Hollywood is constantly looking for material to turn into films. They’ve got to keep new products coming if they want audiences to continue flocking to the theaters. Bestselling books are and likely always will be popular items that get the big screen treatment. In fact, many times, the film is already in the works even before the book hits the shelves.

Of course, sequels to financially successful films are a no-brainer for Hollywood. If it works one time, it will be done again and again until people quit showing up to purchase tickets. When that stops working, the film industry turns to remakes, and those have become quite popular, with Disney remaking and turning a handful of its animated films into live-action films.

The latest Disney classic animated film to get the live-action treatment is Disney’s 2002 movie “Lilo & Stitch.” Fans of the original cartoon flick will remember that Lilo is a young Hawaiian girl who badly wants a friend. As luck would have it, she soon finds a buddy in the form of Stitch, an alien, who finds his way to Earth. Hilariously, Lilo tries to pass the being from outer space as a dog.

The live-action version features the characters we all know and love and tons of laughs, heart and love. This is sure to be a film that the entire family will enjoy. The film opens on May 23 and hits theaters just before Memorial Day.

“Lilo & Stitch” is rated PG for “action, peril and thematic elements,” according to IMDB.
