Correct thinking requires a correct heart. The heart stores all the mind allows to be stored there. Out of the heart proceeds all sin, what we say results from what is stored in the heart. As we think in our hearts, so we are. We are responsible for what we think about. It doesn’t matter what we say, it matters what we do. We must allow God to take control of our thoughts. God places His peace in our hearts. We must enforce the truths that we believe. The proving process takes place every time we walk by faith during trials. Then God gives us peace that surpasses all understanding. We must continue to trust in the Lord with all our heart.

Officer Travis Pierce of the Covington Police Department looks forward to participating in the Shop With A Cop program held each Christmas. Police officers pair up with a family in need and helps them pick out Christmas presents. This program has a special place in Officer Pierce's heart because at the age of 6, he lost his father in the line of duty. Because of this, young Officer Pierce was a participant in the program. It's so heartwarming to see him paying this act of kindness forward.

This abused wife was terrified when her husband locked their 3-year-old son in his room for 15 hours while he beat her. Unable to call for help, this woman took drastic measures and wrote a note on a package that was being picked up by UPS. When the delivery driver noticed the message, he called 911 and the police quickly arrived. Thank goodness for this man!

This dad wanted to remind us this Christmas to take time to be grateful for the gifts we are surrounded by each and every day. So he decided to wrap all of the things we should be grateful for in Christmas paper with big bows. And this comical but touching video is just what we all need to remember this Christmas season. Thanks to the staff at Rideout Memorial Hospital this owner was allowed to say one last goodbye to his beloved dog. I can't imagine the emotions in the hospital room during this tear-filled moment. I'm so glad these 2 got to see each other before this man departed the Earth. Prayers for the family during this heartbreaking time.

Customers at a Walmart in Cleveland, Ohio were in for a Christmas surprise when a stranger paid off $28,000 of layaway purchases. This 'layaway angel' helped many families provide a wonderful Christmas this year and I'm so glad this act isn't going unnoticed. Thank goodness there are kind people in the world like this!

Many residents of Fort McMurray lost their homes and belongings to the devastating wildfires earlier in 2016. These families are now faced with spending Christmas in an unfamiliar setting and struggling to remain positive throughout the season. Thankfully, the folks at WestJet decided to spread some Christmas love to these families and help them create new memories. What a beautiful moment!

Thankfully, she is now in therapy and the doctors have found new medications to help her get through the struggle.
