Around 2009 I was going to take online classes at a Bible Institute Chicago. I prayed about it & felt God say that its not necessary & that He would teach me. Even though it was hard knowing that my time was ticking, I decided to trust Him. Since that time I've been at a place where I can listen to my audio Bible for hours, each week, over & over. He led me to voice record this on my ipod & give it away. If someone were to hear this message who had never even heard of "The Bible" I believe they would be getting a full summary of the CORE message The Bible brings, in this 45 min recording... Please "Share" this with someone who may want to hear it... ALSO To see My Story go to https://youtu.be/4wgxDAjSNqU Thanks!
We are losing our credibility, which is affecting people believing in Christ. Others are questioning the truth about what Christians believe because of how we behave. Listen to Josh share some statistics about how non-Christians view Christians.
“Love makes the world go round.” How we live reflects the truth of our message. Josh shares what Paul wrote about the importance of love. Is the church expressing unconditional love? The way people perceive us can often be the greatest barrier to others trusting Christ.
Most people think Josh came to Christ through evidence, but none of that actually brought him to Christ. It got his attention! The love of God is what brings us to Him.
The major barrier to many of us relating to God is our misperceptions of him. We often project the character of our earthly fathers onto God. Listen to Josh share his personal story!
How we live is proof of our faith. We cannot hope to share truth if our lives don’t demonstrate truth, both truth and integrity must go together. We are called to share the truth in love.
Truth without relationships leads to rejection. There are 4 simple truths about Christianity: 1) God accepts us unconditionally, 2) He loves us sacrificially, 3) He understands us intimately, and 4) He relates to us continuously in our lives.
Do you wonder what God uses to bring people to Him? 71% of people say it was an individual. Listen to how important relationships are in coming to know God.
Who we are as a person, how we live out our faith is as critical as what we believe and what we share and teach others. The majority of people come to know God through relationships.
The truth of Christianity is based on a relationship a person has with Jesus Christ, and that relationship is to be lived out in relationship with others. What we say can be cancelled if we don’t reflect Jesus Christ.
Most people reject Christianity because of a philosophical bias, not historical investigation. Josh explains the approaches to history and the philosophical biases that there are no supernatural events in history.
All that Christ taught depends on who He is. If He is not the Messiah, then what He taught is false. If we He is the Messiah, then what He taught was true. This is what makes Christianity so unique! We are confronted with a person with it comes to Christianity. How are we related to Christ?
Christianity isn’t a system of beliefs, it’s about a person. Who do you say that Jesus is? Christianity depends on Christ being who He claimed to be. If not, then Christianity crumbles.
