Losing a loved, especially one as close as a spouse,  is never an easy experience. It’s one of life’s darkest valleys. It’s a period full of immense pain, hurt and heartache. Those who have gone through such a distressing and traumatic event would not wish it on their worst enemies.

In early 2016, Joey passed away after battling cancer for several years, according to The Tennessean. What a horrible situation and a devastating loss for Rory and their daughter Indiana. However, because of Jesus Christ and His love, mercy and grace, there is life after going through something so tragic and painful.

And now, eight years after Joey’s passing, Rory has found love again, capturing the beautiful ceremony in the official music video for his new song, “I Do.”

The video for the lovely and moving song shows the beautiful bride arriving at the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage and Rory and his bride standing at the altar together in front of friends and family. But at one point during the ceremony, Rory grabs the guitar, surprising his bride by performing the song.

The lyrics are enough to make even the most stoic and unemotional person reach for a tissue to dry their eyes.

“Do I need you?

Do I thank God for you?

Do I want to make you happy your whole life through?

I Do”

The video also captures the moment when Rory and his new bride exchange their vows and say their “I dos.” Several people at the ceremony are spotted wiping their eyes, brushing away the tears as they watch these two make a beautiful, lifelong commitment to one another.

This is sure to be a song that will be played for many weddings for years to come.

Beautiful Harp Guitar Cover of 'How Deep Is Your Love' By The Bee Gees

An immensely talented musician turned in a beautiful cover of the Bee Gees classic "How Deep is Your Love" on the harp guitar.

When it comes to music, but especially when talking about the Disco era, there were no more prominent names than the Bee Gees. Their music has essentially defined that time in the 1970s. Whether you were a fan of the Bee Gees or not, everyone knows and has probably heard "Stayin' Alive" thousands of times.

But "Stayin' Alive" is far from the only tune from the Gibb brothers. Most people are also incredibly familiar with some of their other songs, like "More Than a Woman" and "Jive Talkin'," just to name a few. Decades later, their music is still widely listened to, appreciated and even covered by other musicians.

A clip posted on YouTube shows one gentleman performing a cover of the Bee Gees' timeless tune "How Deep is Your Love." But he's not going the conventional route with this cover. Instead of playing it on the guitar, piano or even the violin, he chose a different, less known and used instrument: the harp guitar.

His performance is incredible, reminding viewers of that catchy classic tune from the Bee Gees. Throughout the more than four-minute video, he doesn't seem to miss a single note or even pluck the wrong string. It's a performance of a true professional musician who knows what he is doing.

However, for those unfamiliar with the harp guitar, the instrument can be distracting and take some of the focus off the sound and the performance. It's a rather odd-looking musical device. It's understandable why the instrument is called a harp guitar; you can easily see both instruments, which have essentially been combined into one piece.

Colossians 3:16 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."

In the vast sea of musical renditions, certain performances rise above, capturing our hearts and evoking deep emotions. One such moment comes from Boyce Avenue and Connie Talbot in their unique and beautiful duet of ‘My Heart Will Go On’ and deliver a stunning piano acoustic cover. This iconic song, originally performed by Céline Dion for the hit movie Titanic, directed by James Cameron and starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, has been reimagined with a fresh, heartfelt touch that is truly their own.

In a music studio filled with guitars and dozens of soft lights aglow, delicate piano notes begin, followed by guitar strums, as Boyce Avenue and Connie Talbot create a soundscape that feels both intimate and grand. Connie’s pure, ethereal voice beautifully complements the piano's gentle melody, weaving a tapestry of emotion that resonates deeply. Each chord and lyric seems to echo the timeless love story of Titanic, reminding us of the enduring power of love and the heartache of goodbyes.

Their cover transforms the song into a poignant reflection on the strength and depth of human connection, much like the film’s portrayal of Jack and Rose’s unforgettable romance. It’s as though Boyce Avenue and Connie have taken the essence of the song and breathed new life into it, making it feel both familiar and refreshingly new.

In these moments of musical grace, we are reminded of the words from 1 John 4:7, “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.” The collaboration between Boyce Avenue and Connie Talbot is a beautiful embodiment of this verse, showing us that through music, love can be expressed in the most profound and touching ways.

Female A Cappella Group Nails 'I Will Survive' Cover

Check out this stunning live performance. A female a capella group nails this ‘I Will Survive’ cover.

It takes a lot to be able to sing a song as a group, but it takes even more to do it a capella, unaccompanied. At the start of this video, the lead singer excitedly begins the song. The background singers stand behind in the dimly lit stage lights. When she gets to the chorus, they join in singing with her, combining various basic sounds as her support.

The song has a jazzy edge. The singers all have unique roles, some carrying a melody line, some harmonies, and one conducting. The young ladies have to work hard, stay focused, and be a team to achieve this song. The adorable lead singer says, “Hey, hey!”  and then starts to dance around and walk past all the singers. The audience cheers for this fun interlude that is done by the chorus of girls.

The girls are tight with their harmonies and confident in their unique roles. They do a phenomenal job at working as a team and shining on the stage together. The lead singer has an attitude and flare. At the end of the performance, the group adds some really special responses after the lead singer. The crowd cheers and celebrates the hard work of this team.

Watching this a cappella group sings with confidence and unity reminds us that every person matters in the body of Christ. We all have a role and a unique gift to offer. The song is wonderful not because of one person but because the entire group works as one. May this video remind us of our value and each unique individual's role in the family of believers.
