We catch a glimpse of earth's first couple, but today's main attraction is a being called satan. He seems very friendly, but be careful -- He bites!

This sermon jam titled "Gethsemane" comes from a sermon preached by Reverend Dr. Vincent G. Artese called "Gethsemane".

Gethsemane is a place of great mental and spiritual suffering. To suffer is to go through an experience. Each disciple will face a similar test as Christ faced. All Christians must remain united with Christ through sufferings and experiences. One must despise self and follow after Christ. Jesus warns those who want to run from their Gethsemane that they cannot be saved. We must give up our rights to ourselves and die to ourselves. Christ did not want to suffer as He did but He said, “not My will but Thy will be done.” This is a change in nature, habits, character, and will. Our thinking is the key that changes everything else. The only way to holiness is through obedience which leads to righteousness. Our mind is not our own, we must stay in Christ. Habits become our nature. We must get our thinking into shape and be disciplined. We are to live in faith not lust or fear. Our thinking must turn into actions. Are you acting according to how you think? Gethsemane is to do, not simply to talk. Christ left Gethsemane a willing sacrifice. We must arrive at the truth even if we don’t like the way to get there. We must hear and act; our Gethsemane must be a personal event. Gethsemane is a place of refinement. May we say like Christ in the midst of trials, “Not my will but Thy will be done.”

Kirsten Haglund stole america's heart when she became Miss America in 2008. But what the world didn't know was the story behind the smile. When she was younger Kirsten found herself trapped in the unhealthy cycle of anorexia. Her obsession with food and her weight took over her life until even doctors couldn't convince her she needed to change. Finally one day Kirsten's body gave up and she realized she couldn't hide from God. She turned her life to God and seeing how He is using her to speak out and raise awareness of eating disorders is truly inspiring. God bless Kirsten!

A local shelter volunteer was shocked when she found a Yorkie mix left on the shelter's doorstep. The dog was left inside their crate which was wrapped with a trash bag. With temperatures in the 90s, it wouldn't take long for the poor pup to overheat and die. Thank goodness this volunteer arrived in the nick of time.

Patrick Perry, a news photographer, was on his was to cover a story when the vehicle in front of him lost control and slammed into a tree. The driver was a 21-year-old pregnant woman and Patrick immediately ran to pull her out of the burning vehicle. I'm so glad this hero was in the right place at the right time.

When Lisa was planning her wedding she and her dad decided their father-daughter dance would be to Tim McGraw's 'My Little Girl'. But Lisa's dad had a BIG surprise planned for his daughter. As they started to dance at the wedding out came Tim McGraw surprising the bride and singing their song. And this beautifully emotional moment had my heart so full!

Joey Beltran and his dog, Nala, were on the way to hospital to say his goodbye's to his dying mother when his vehicle hit a curb and flipped over. While waiting for aid, Nala escaped the car and ran away. Joey's mother passed away shortly after and he was absolutely devastated. Thankfully, a few days later Joey received a call that Nala was safe and at a local vet. What a touching reunion!

This husband is in desperate need of a kidney, so when his wife found out she was a match she wanted to surprise him. So at his birthday dinner she surprised him with a cake that read "We're a match in more ways than one". And seeing his reaction when he realizes that his wife is going to save his life left everyone in tears!

This dog is now being called 'Lucky' after he miraculously survived a terrifying run-in with a rally car. This poor pup had no idea he was stepping out in the middle of a race track. But seeing how this car jumped him missing Lucky by inches will leave you gasping. This is one miracle dog!

Officer Victor Ortiz was certainly put in the right place at the right time when a suicidal man walked onto New Jersey train tracks. Ortiz quickly grabbed the man just seconds before the train barreled by. Thank goodness for the hero officer!
