Abraham and Sarah were old in age when God promised to bless them with a child. They both laughed in disbelief at the thought, but God came through on His promise and one year later, Sarah gave birth to a child named “Isaac”, which means “He Laughs” in Hebrew. The ultimate test came when God asked Abraham to offer Isaac, the son he loved, as a sacrifice. Yet, Abraham was willing to obey God’s command because he believed that if Isaac died, God could raise him from the dead. He put his faith in God alone, not in the promises that He offered. God is asking us to do the same. We must, like Abraham, sacrifice our desires to the One who cares. Wealth, career, power and money are meaningless without God. Give Him your dreams so He can resurrect new and greater visions inside of you. How many “seeds” of hope, inspiration and love will we produce when we choose to die to our own desires and surrender to Him? John 12:24

Ben-Hur is a major Paramount Pictures/MGM motion picture hitting theaters nationwide on August 12, 2016. Bursting with action - including a new chariot race for the ages - and elevated by Christian themes of justice, liberty & radical forgiveness, it tells the classic story of Judah Ben-Hur (Jack Huston), a prince falsely accused of treason by his adopted brother Messala (Toby Kebbell), an officer in the Roman army. Stripped of his title and separated from his family and the woman he loves (Nazanin Boniadi), Judah is forced into slavery and despair.
After years at sea, a breathtaking turn of events sends Judah on an epic journey back to his homeland to seek revenge, where a chance encounter with Jesus of Nazareth (Rodrigo Santoro) transforms his life and leads him to discover grace, mercy and ultimately, redemption. Based on Lew Wallace's timeless novel, Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ. Also starring Morgan Freeman in an unforgettable performance.
In the valley of suffering, we encounter many trials and tribulations. Joseph was betrayed by loved ones and falsely accused of rape. He felt alone and isolated. Yet, God turned his tragedy into triumph. Joseph eventually rose to a position of power in Pharoah's court and God used him to save lives during a famine. God can also make you victorious. Trust Him, like Joseph did, to refine you in the furnace of suffering. Joseph was able to forgive his tormentors because he knew that God's plan is greater than man's mistakes. "As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today." Genesis 50:20
