It is easy to get bogged down with the situations of daily life, but as Christians we can always look away from our situations to our wonderful Christ. A famous hymn says, “Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face.” He is the author and perfecter of our faith.

"He will drop like rain upon mown grass, Like abundant showers dripping on the earth".

When Christ comes back to the earth for the second time He will not come mainly by exercising His righteous judgment, but rather by coming like showers to water the people of the earth. Today the earth is a dry land and the Lord desires that people turn to Him so that He can supply them with himself as living water.

"There is now then no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus" - Romans 8:1.

After we pray to the Lord for Him to cleanse us from our sins, we may still feel like we need to do more for the Lord or feel bad so that He would forgive us. However, Romans 8:1 shows that we are already in Christ Jesus, and as Christians His blood has cleansed us; so we don't have to feel condemned.
