Two-time GRAMMY nominee and four-time DOVE Award winner Joseph Habedank releases “Goodness of God,” the latest single from his forthcoming Gaither Music Group project, The Worship Album, available today on all streaming platforms. The full project arrives July 31, 2026 as a CD, concert DVD, and TV special.
“Goodness of God” is already cherished by worship listeners around the world and has been performed by many top artists in Christian music. Habedank’s version of “Goodness of God” features background vocals from Autumn Nelon and Ryan Hall, complementing his signature warm tone on this beloved worship song. Habedank often includes worship songs in his concert performances and has talked about how this element brings a whole new dimension with honesty, testimony and music. Habedank delivers the song not as a distant statement of faith, but as something lived and remembered.
“When I sing ‘Goodness of God,’ I’m not singing an idea,” says Habedank. “I’m singing my life. I can look back over the parts of my story that were broken, the places where I should not have made it, and I see the faithfulness of God. That is why this song means so much to me. It gives language to what I already know to be true.”
Produced by Nick Schwarz, The Worship Album marks a new step in Habedank’s recording journey, bringing his signature tone to a collection of 12 contemporary worship songs including “I Speak Jesus,” “Holy Forever,” “Firm Foundation,” “Way Maker,” “Agnus Dei/Worthy of It All,” and more.
The project was filmed live at The Mulehouse in Columbia, Tennessee for Gaither Music and will also be released as a concert DVD and television special. The DVD features special appearances by Jake Hess III, Autumn Streetman, Scotty Inman, and Riley Harrison Clark.
Habedank has long connected with listeners through songs rooted in redemption, recovery, and the steady presence of faith through real life. With The Worship Album, he brings that same spirit to songs many listeners already know from church, radio and worship gatherings, bridging Gaither’s core audience with the contemporary Christian and praise and worship community.
“Goodness of God” follows the release of “Agnus Dei/Worthy of It All,” which kicked off the project in June.
