Bethel Music artist, songwriter, and worship leader Bethany Wohrle releases her debut solo album, REASON THAT I SING. Available today on all streaming platforms, the eight-track project features the focus track, “All Authority.”
REASON THAT I SING is a collection of songs rooted in Wohrle’s testimony of God’s presence, faithfulness, and unwavering goodness. The album captures her journey of discovering God’s steadfast character through every season of life, inviting listeners to reflect on the faithfulness of God and the promises found in Him.
The album’s focus track, “All Authority,” is a powerful proclamation of who Jesus is and a reminder of where our victory is found. The song leads listeners into a deeper confidence in the King of Kings, celebrating the truth that all authority in heaven and on earth belongs to Him alone.
Over the past several months, Wohrle has offered listeners a glimpse into the heart of REASON THAT I SING through the releases of “He Is Here” featuring John Wilds, “That’s How I Know,” and “Seen Too Much.” Together, these songs have introduced an album built on personal testimony – one that celebrates the goodness of God and encourages believers to remember His faithfulness in every circumstance.
Says Wohrle, “This is my testimony project. I’ve seen the Lord do miraculous things. I’ve watched His faithful hand over my family and my life. These songs are testimonies for me. I’ve experienced way too much of the Lord’s goodness and faithfulness to ever doubt Him and to think He’s not good. My hope and prayer is that when you listen to these songs, you will be reminded of the Lord’s faithfulness through your life, knowing that He will never let you down.”
Known for her voice on worship favorites including “All Hail King Jesus” and “Living Hope,” Wohrle has become a familiar voice within the global worship movement through her work with Bethel Music. With REASON THAT I SING, she steps into her most personal project to date, inviting listeners into songs shaped by her own journey of faith while continuing to lead the Church in worship.
