This sermon jam focuses on how although every born again believer is released from the penalty of sin but are on probation. All Christians must abide in Christ through obedience and faith. Christ must dwell within and the Christian must be dead to self and alive in Christ. Their old life buried in Him. The Christian must walk in faith in Christ. The Christian must not continue in sin! It is impossible! True Christians have been baptized into the death of Jesus Christ and walk in newness of life in Christ. This is the narrow way to heaven. Those living in sin cannot be saved, they must live in obedience to God. All Christians must take their covenant with God seriously. All who have not must repent and comply with the conditions of the Gospel and the only way to stay in Christ is to walk by faith, empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Happy Labor Day
The Apostle Paul spoke of their "labor of love." The term "labor" meant to continue to serve the Lord under cutting, abrasive, and abusive conditions.

1 Thessalonians 1: 3 - 4 As we pray to our God and Father about you, we think of your faithful work, your loving deeds, and the enduring hope you have because of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Remember know-one keep you from expressing your love for Christ by faithful service.

The word "labor" meant to succumb to no fatigue and overcome every obstacle.
Do we do it out of love for Christ or for some other self-deceiving reason Sometimes loving is labor. To love when you are not loved in return is challenging.

To love when you receive bitterness or even hate in return is even more demanding. It is under such circumstances that our labor of love is all the more essential.
