This is definitely a tear-jerker! Minister Freddie Combs came close to his death in 2009 when he weighed in at over 900 pounds--but the Lord gave him the strength to lose almost half of it. With God on his side and the support of his wife, he is on his path to a healthier lifestyle and was finally able to leave the house to share his incredible God-given voice with the world. His voice is so amazing, that he was told by the judges it was "heavenly." And it certainly is!

Someone said, "If you connect a boy to the right man, he seldom goes wrong." And I believe that adage to be true. If a dad and a son, or a daughter, can develop some common interests together, the rebellious years really shouldn't be all that troubling.

When there are small children in the house, a woman needs her husband's understanding more than ever. No one works harder than a mother who stays home to care for multiple preschool children. No one. Not only does she have many noisy responsibilities from morning to night, but she also experiences a very unusual kind of emotional stress, as well.

We believe that since God created coffee, the least we could do is share a cup with Him. So in the 6 to 7 minutes it takes to drink a cup of coffee, or other morning or afternoon pick me up, we share a devotion to encourage, enlighten, and enjoy.

It seems like everyday, we hear more stories of God being pushed out of the school systems but this is one story where the glory of God prevails. These students that stand firm for their love and belief in God is absolutely inspiring!! God bless these students!

The obstacles seemed insurmountable for a 13-year-old Filipino street kid. Forced to scavenge for his survival from the age of 2, sleep in a coffin and run away to seek help after he was badly injured, Cris "Kesz" Valdez had every reason to merely look out for himself.

But at age 7, he started a foundation, the Championing Community Children charity, to help fellow homeless kids, and his selfless work has been recognized with the $130,000 Children's Peace Prize.

Raised in rural Texas, Roger Hanson has led quite a diverse life. Born into a family of musicians, Roger went on to study Music at the University of North Texas & Texas Christian University. The course of his professional life contains too many twists & turns to list separately, so suffice it to say that the next 17 years of his life saw him working in churches, headhunting organizations, the New York City musical theatre stage -- and finally, as a Division President for one of the world's largest translation & interpretation services companies. As 2008 became 2009, this "sensitive" boy from Texas who found himself in the biggest of corporate arenas in one of the world's largest cities (London), decided it was time to understand his life from a deeper perspective. For Roger, this meant transitioning out of corporate life so he could begin an intentional time of self-enquiry, enabling him to closely examine this sensitivity he had not yet fully embraced. He also began to study the connection between mind, body, & spirit -- energy & matter -- different levels of consciousness -- and how all of this affects our existence as human beings. Whilst he discovered many things, one of the most important lessons he learned had to do with the difference between love & fear. It sounds like such a simple subject -- and in reality, it is -- but it became very clear how often people, who consider themselves to be loving in nature (Roger included), actually choose to act out of fear, wi
