Soul-Stirring Chris Rupp A Cappella ‘I Will Rise’ Cover

Chris Rupp has turned in a soul-stirring and moving a cappella cover performance of “I Will Rise.”

Life is an unpredictable series of events. One minute, you could be on top of the world, loving life while experiencing the highest of highs. Then, the next, you could find yourself in one of the darkest valleys, going through immense pain, hurt and grief.

Anyone who says they can 100 percent predict what will happen from one moment to the next is either insane, a liar or probably a little bit of both. Life can be a rollercoaster ride, changing directions without a moment’s notice. It’s enough to wear and fray on the most sane, well-adjusted person’s nerves.

Thankfully, through everything that life may throw at us—all the ups and downs—we can have and experience peace. Christ offers peace, love and comfort during life’s many storms, promising never to leave nor forsake us.

In the video above, Chris gives a fantastic a cappella cover performance of “I Will Rise,” a song by legendary Christian musician Chris Tomlin. The tune’s beautifully written lyrics emphasize that Jesus Christ has won the victory over death and the grave. He has won the ultimate victory.

“Jesus has overcome

And the grave is overwhelmed

The victory is won

He is risen from the dead”

The lyrics add that when He calls us one day, we will rise and go to our heavenly home. It will be a place where there is no more sorrow, pain, hurt or grief. There will be no more tears shed when He calls us home.

What a wonderful and joyful thought! Heaven will be a wonderful place where we’ll be able to reunite with those loved ones who have gone on before us and finally see Jesus Christ Himself.

Revelation 21:4 “And he will put an end to their weeping; and there will be no more death, or sorrow, or crying, or pain; for the first things have come to an end.”

I Look and Lift Mine Eyes Up (Psalm 121)

Learning Bible verses never came easier than this! This setting of David's psalm, sung right from the Norwegian Bible in use at the time was often sung in Norway in the Jesus Movement. It tells who our "Ezer" is, our Mighty Help. The recording I chose actually goes faster, and is available on social media platforms I have done my best to stick as closely as I can to the rythm of the Norwegian, and also consulted the Hebrew text while translating.

Crown Him with Many Crowns - A Cappella

Using just 4 voices, Chris recreates this classic hymn with a stunning and powerful a cappella rendition!

Behold The Man

You can study every famous person in history, but you will not find anyone who compares to Jesus. Jesus is the Son of God and Son of Man. Seek Him and study Him. Jesus overcame the devil, sin, and death by being totally humble. His submission gave not only Him, but us, victory. Behold Him continually. You will never be the same. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. II Corinthians 3:18

Your will be done

On the evening before Good Friday in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus reached both the lowest and the highest points of His mission. He had been betrayed by one disciple, denied by another and abandoned by the rest. In the next few hours, He would face the prospect of an agonising death on a cross which He could have escaped because He had done nothing wrong but ... He accepted that this was the only way to save us and that it was in obedience to His Father's will that He would give up His life in this way.

Everlasting Arms

In a world where chaos seems to reign, we look for a steadying hand to guide us and reassure us. The Bible is full of words of comfort that remind us of His power on our behalf. This song is based on a much-loved verse from Deuteronomy 33 which tells us that God Himself is our refuge and His everlasting arms will be under us and holding us through every situation that we face in life and in death. I hope it's an encouragement to you to trust Him!

Joy Gardner Beautiful 'Holy Ground' Performance Lyric Video

Singer Joy Gardner turned in a beautiful performance of the hymn “Holy Ground” in a lyric video.

None of us could ever do anything to obtain forgiveness and earn salvation. If that were the case, there would be no hope for anyone, and all would be condemned to live out their days in their sin and shame. Eternal life would not be possible, so a disastrous fate would await all after their time on Earth expired.

But God made a way, sending His one and only Son to Earth. Jesus Christ willingly went to the cross, bleeding and then enduring a horrible and agonizing death. Days later, Christ would arise, roll the stone away and walk out of the grave.

He went through all of that for our sake. He bled and died so that we might have forgiveness and experience eternal life with Him. Forgiveness, love and hope are gifts freely offered to all. All one must do is confess with their mouth and believe in their hearts that Jesus Christ is Lord.

What a wonderful, magnificent and holy God!

In a clip posted on YouTube, Joy sings about God's awe-inspiring and holy nature. It’s a beautiful and moving performance of a wonderfully written tune, with lyrics celebrating and praising God and His son, Jesus Christ.

The song's chorus is beautiful.

“We are standing on holy ground

And I know that there are angels all around

Let us praise Jesus now

We are standing in His presence on holy ground”

In addition to singing about God’s awesome and mighty love, the lyrics state that if there is a need in your life, reach out for Him and it will be met.

Joy is not the only person who displays their musical talents in the video. At various points in the nearly five-minute video, the audience joins in on the performance, standing up and lending their voices to the lovely song.

Acts 7:33 “And the Lord said, ‘Take off the shoes from your feet, for the place where you are is holy.”

even when you cry

watch and listen and you will feel the love and light given by god inside of you all

Lord, help me, help me

The phrase "Lord, help me, help me" is a plea for assistance, typically addressed to a higher power – God.

Psalm 98:4-6 "Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn—shout for joy before the Lord, the King."

Gaither Vocal Band's Stirring Rendition of 'You're the Lion of Judah'

This stunning performance of ‘You're the Lion of Judah’ by the Gaither Vocal band is an upbeat melody that is a prime example of what worshiping God looks like.

This YouTube video will have you raising your hands and singing along. The song is a memorable worship song that will remind you of who God is.

Along with the five vocalists, the band uses drums, a guitar, a piano, and a recorder. The song has a Celtic feel to it in some parts, which adds to the beauty of the performance.

The chorus is pretty powerful with the following lyrics,

“And the angels will cry: 'Hail the Lamb

Who was slain for the world, Rule in power.'

And the earth will reply: 'You shall reign

As the King of all kings

And the Lord of all lords.'”

Those in the comments really enjoyed the performance. One commenter says, “Thank God for the Gaither's music, it's always soothing, uplifting and encouraging. The lady playing the flute is awesome!” and another, “I love this song and your beautiful rendition of it. I don't think I have ever heard it before. Thank you GVB you are a blessing !!”

The Gaither Vocal Band is an American Southern Gospel vocal group which is named after Bill Gaither, the founder. The current band includes Reggie Smith, Wes Hampton, Bill Gaither, Todd Suttles, and Adam Crabb. The lineup has changed over the years, allowing different people to experience performing in the band.

The original band was formed backstage at a Gaither Trio concert. They sang ‘Your First Day in Heaven’ and released their debut album in 1981.

The band brings amazing music to the world. Each song and performance is a great reminder of how important worship music can be.

“To you, O God, do we give thanks, to you do we give thanks: for that your name is near your wondrous works declare.” - Psalms 75:1

Gaither Vocal Band Delivers Powerful 'This Is The Place' Lyric Video

A group of supremely talented vocalists, the Gaither Vocal Band, turned in a masterful and powerful performance of ‘This is the Place’ in their official lyric video.

This lost and broken world is full of people who are hurting, struggling and battling addictions. Sin has absolutely wrecked lives and relationships and destroyed families. Most individuals are simply looking for hope, something that will let them know that their pain and struggle can and will come to an end.

Sadly, a lot of people living in sin believe themselves to be too far gone for God. They believe themselves to be unredeemable and unworthy of love. Of course, though, that is nothing but a lie. No one is too far gone for Him. His love for us doesn’t stop when we’re not living according to God’s words and commands. The Bible states that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

In a video posted on YouTube, the Gaither Vocal Band beautifully sings about a place where sinners can go to find God. They can leave behind all their hurt, suffering and shame and ask the Lord for forgiveness in this place.

Of course, in their song “This is the Place,” the guys are referring to the church. Yes, the church is a place of praise and worship, but it’s also a place where sinners can seek forgiveness, turn from their previous ways, and follow the one true King.

Additionally, the guys sing about all the other big life moments that take place in a house of worship.

The song’s lyrics are beautifully written, giving hope to those who need it most.

“Find forgiveness and grace

Here, we walk down the aisle

Dedicate every child

Here in this sacred place”

While the vocal performances are noteworthy, the video is also gorgeously shot. It was filmed in a beautiful church and features different people participating in many of the ceremonies that commonly take place in a church.

Matthew 16:18 “And I say to you, that you are Peter, and on this rock will my church be based, and the doors of hell will not overcome it.”

We Are All Human
