The Childrens Mite network with Charity Evangelical Outreach Ministry (CHEOM) in Soroti, Uganda to purchase food for the people in Karamoja. Rev. Joseph Aleper, Pastor of St. Marks Church of Uganda in Moroto, is CHEOM host and interpreter. The woman is
a widow and is thanking the Lord and the people in America for sending the food. At the end of the video, the people are singing a song of welcome and thanks to the visitors in welcoming them to come again and singing thanks to God for the food. Because of

NTIM's VP & Director of Field, Michael Johnson, has been involved in teaching the Word of God for almost 30 years but he recently shared a message while in the U.S. with FBC Florence, MS that is a message we believe every Christian would want to hear.

It is a message that deals with what we call living the dash. When you really think about it, we don't have control over most of the things in life. We didn't get to help decide where we were born, who our parents are, or which time period and culture we will face. We also don't get to decide either of the two dates on our gravestones. We don't know when our time on this earth will be up. It could be next week or next year or even decades away. We just do not know. But there is one thing that we do have much control over. We get to decide how we're going to use the dash in between those two dates on our gravestone.

The people of Karamoja are dying from starvation. The Children's Mite is a small non-profit charitable and Christian organization that provides "mite-size" contributions to help feed and educate impoverished children and adults in Africa. We networked with two local pastors in Soroti in conducting two food distributions. The cost was only $275 and it fed 149 starving people in Nawaikorot Village. Visit us at www.thechildrensmite.org.

Staying Pure til marriage with Josh McDowell took place in Chicago and several area church youth groups came to hear Josh McDowell's message on the importance of waiting til Marriage to have a real relationship. We also Interviewed Tadeshii, the Hip hop Rapper who provided the music that evening and shared testimony. We brought our cameras and reporter to do a 30 min. story that will be inserted into our program Everlasting Love.
