If you get too close to a rattlesnake and it bites you then you will die, if you get too close to sin and let it infect you without Jesus then you too will die.

Holy Spirit signs that make you wonder....the gold dust has been appearing on my hands during worship, prayer, etc. for a while now. I believe it represents the kingdom of heaven that is at hand...and his glory being upon us.
How does God make us right in his sight? There have been many answers, beginning with those who deny that there is any problem at all in our relationship to God, to those who recognize that there is a problem, but don't see how severe the problem is. The Reformed faith has been faithful in explaining the desperate nature of our sin and its consequences before a holy God, but with such universal and uncompromising claims, how can anyone be acceptable before God? The answer is in the doctrine of justification, a doctrine that is at the heart of the gospel message. Watch as Pastor MacLaren explains the answer of thte Larger Catechism during the Sunday Worship Service of First Presbyterian Church, Perkasie, PA, on 1/09/2011. Rev. Richard Scott MacLaren is the pastor.
Today you can watch the same show on your flat screen TV, iPad, Laptop Computer, and iPhone. We've come a long way from the days of Alexander Graham Bell and the rotary telephone. What a wonderful opportunity to proclaim the good news of salvation today! Watch as Pastor MacLaren shows from Isaiah 52 how God's mighty work of salvation should be announced from the mountaintops of the modern world. This sermon was preached at First Presbyterian Church of Perkasie, Pennsylvania, an Orthodox Presbyterian Church (www.firstchurchopc.org). Rev. R Scott MacLaren is the pastor.
