To successfully seek and follow Jesus, one must fix their heart and mind on Him. Psa 112:7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. We should be praising Him throughout the day in Spirit and in Truth. Psalms 22:1 tells us that He inhabits the praise praise of His people (Israel), in which we have been grafted in (Romans 11:17-22). How true it is, His Spirit dwells within His people (Romans 8:11) , and we reside within Him. Acts 17:28 For in him we live and move and have our being. Yes we are in Christ. In His Spirit which is a part of His Being and part His Kingdom. Therefore everyday should be a opportunity to exalt and praise Him, to bless His name and to thank Him for the bounty and life given. Darkness attempts to disrupt our lives from what we are called to do. But if we relentlessly seek Him, His Love, Mercy and Grace far outshine the situations we struggle with. The purpose of the “Behold the Man” program is to inform the minds and hearts of men with the mind and heart of Jesus Christ and His Bride the Church by means of instruction, encounter and lived experience with “the leader and perfecter of faith ”(Hebrews 12:2). This year we hope to equip our participants with the tools they need to understand and share the faith with others. We will also seek to lean from several saints who were known for teaching or defending the Catholic faith.
