The tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil ... why did God put it there?

A 29-year-old Christian man was recently tortured and killed by members of al Qaida in Kirkuk, Iraq. Ashur Issa Yaqub was kidnapped, then his captors reportedly demanded $100,000 for his release.

Several Christians came under attack in Jharkhand state, India, in recent weeks. Hindu militants beat the members of five Christian families in Palamu district.
