One of many or your one and only

If you’re truly going to be a hero to your own children, then they need to look at you as a source of why things are right and why things are wrong.

One of the most important things we need to pass onto our children are our values.

If you do not communicate with your children; if you do not listen to them and share with them, you will never become a hero to your child.

If we’re going to be a hero to our children, if they’re going to look up to us, then we need to teach them Biblical truth—but in a way that they understand it and that’s interesting to them.

My family does not come before my ministry. My family is my first ministry. And folks, that’s not just a little something. That is a huge concept.

It’s very important that our children understand love, what it means to love and all. And one of the things I’ve struggled with my children is my three daughters and my son would grow up, how do they know if they’re in love?

One of the most important things I can do for my children is to love their mother. But I always try and find out from my kids what does love mean to them?

Children’s #1 source of security: Knowing father and mother love each other and will not divorce

One of the greatest pieces of wisdom anyone has ever given me was when Dottie said this “If you spend time with your children now, they’ll spend time with you later.”

On the October edition of the Persecution Report you’ll meet a pastor and his wife in the former Soviet empire of Kazakhstan who are standing strong in spite of the rise of persecution against the evangelical church. Also a Christian family of eight is killed by militant Muslims in Nigeria’s Plateau State, believers are once against facing attacks in Sudan’s Nuba mountains, and a pastor in Iran is released from prison after spending almost a year behind bars after being accused of propagating Christianity and opposing the Islamic regime.

Pastor Vahik Abrahamian has been released from an Iranian prison. The 45-year-old Armenian pastor and his wife, Sonia, were arrested in Hamedan along with another Christian couple in September 2010.

This message is about Jesus' encounter with societies greatest outcast, a leper. In this message you will be encouraged by the heart that Jesus finds in this leper, and why He acts with such great compassion in his life. More importantly, you will discover the type of heart Jesus is looking for in us, so that He can do greater things in and through our lives.
