Thus says The Lord God: I have spoken, and sent My messengers before My face...
Yet this foolish people can in no wise see, nor are they able to hear! They refuse to look past My messengers, and willingly stop their ears from hearing, unable to recognize the voice of The Living God... For what is the messenger to you, oh ignorant and vain peoples?... Why do you consider, so carefully, seeking to find fault with those I send? Why do you concern yourselves with those I choose? And why do you judge those through whom I speak? And what is a prophet?... Is he not a man, My servant, whom I have chosen and called? And when does My servant become a prophet? And what is the length of time he remains as such?... Lo, he is only a prophet in that self-same moment, in which I speak to him and cause him to hear... Prophesying only as long as I cause him to speak or to write My words... I am The Lord.

Frequently christians think that when soemthing is going bad for them that God is angry with them or must not hear them. Biblically speaking though if we are believers we are under grace and not law all the days of our lives, and God does not write evil but he uses it to strengthen and grow our relationship with him. we do not enjoy it while it is happening but we do not need to act, because he as a father allows his children to simply cry out to him and be honest. As part of the celebration of Christmas, Pastor Dean takes a look at the traditional Christmas story from a different angle. Starting with Matthew 1, he re-examines one of the best known stories in the Bible.
A person cannot be a Christian if he/she is not a disciple of Christ because the name “Christian” denotes a “Christ-follower”. The word “Christian” was derived from the name “Christ” as American is from America. The name “Christian” qualifies what flock, leader or discipline we belong to, or follow.
As Christians, we need to be able identify and know who your leader is. Jesus Christ is your Leader. Some Christians have more faith and confidence in their church leaders than they have in Jesus Christ. They talk alot about what their pastors said and not what Jesus said. They give their pastors and religious leaders all of the credit for what Jesus already said. God is a jealous God. I will be discussing with you who is your true leader is and who you are accountable to.
