When I was in the world, I wondered why so many professing christians acted like they did. When I started studying Holy Scripture, I understood. They serve a different God then what Scripture defines.

https://www.ChristianHomeandFamily.com - after years of studying the scriptures and considering my own failures and sins, I have put together this quick lesson regarding our propensity to sin and the reasons for it. You can learn about how body, soul, and spirit work together and how your flesh affects the way you live. It's really helpful to know. This is part of my video course "New Life Is No Joke" which is in the works! https://www.ChrsitianHomeandFamily.com/newlife
https://www.ChristianHomeandFamily.com - I've heard so many people praying in worried, anxious, distressed tones that I wonder if they actually remember WHO it is they are talking to! Prayer should be a time of rejoicing that we have a God who is powerful and capable and that He actually WANTS us to bring Him our cares and concerns. I'm not saying you have to be calm when you pray. I'm encouraging you to analyze the attitude you have when you pray. Is it an attitude of worry, anxiety, or fear? Or is it an attitude of trust? Don't be a prayer worrier, be a prayer warrior!
https://www.ChristianHomeandFamily.com - We live in a day when "self esteem" has been championed as the be-all end-all of personal well-being. But is that really true? What the Bible says about the way we view ourselves has very little to do with how good WE are, or how much WE have accomplished. It has much more to do with God... so you could say we don't have a self esteem problem, we have a God esteem problem - we don't esteem God enough!
https://www.ChristianHomeandFamily.com - You know what an ostrich does when things come along that it doesn't like... it sticks its head in the sand. Do you do the same thing when it comes to communicating about things that really matter, things that are awkward, or things that you really don't want to face? As believer in Christ, we have to face things head-on, in the power of the Spirit, and let Him lead us into a healthy way of relating. Don't be a relational ostrich... communicate!
https://www.ChristianHomeandFamily.com - You can learn (and teach your kids) how to hear the voice of God through things that are all around you. Couple that with His word and you have a sure fire way to drawing closer to Him day by day. Don't allow yourself to miss out on the great things He's doing and saying all around you!
