There is a dirty, rotten liar lurking about - making promises to you, wanting you to love it, trying to gain your trust, and then your worship. Its name is "Wealth"

Simply put, Asante means “Thank You,” and that is what they wish to say. Coming from East Africa an area plagued by years of devastating genocide and civil war, these vibrant children have overcome some of life’s most difficult circumstances and take pride in expressing their gratitude through uplifting songs and joyous dancing. They are dedicated to spreading love, hope and joy
while raising awareness for the desperate plight of orphans and other
vulnerable children back at home. Their performances are the true testimonies and a living “Asante” to everyone who has invested in their lives giving them great pride and hope for a brighter future.

How Many Times Should You Forgive Your Brother?

I am never going to speak to you again. What you said hurt me. I will never forgive you. These statements are from a person who has been hurt. When someone you care about hurts you, you can do one of two things, hold on to the hurt or forgive and move forward.

Although people hurt us, we must forgive them. We must be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God through Christ forgave you.

Benefits of forgiving:
• Forgiveness is healing
• Forgiveness is a choice
• Forgiveness is freedom

The Bible says, "Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven,” (Matthew 18:21-22).

How many times will you forgive your brother?

Eererything Drama

Heather Williams - You Are Loved

What a great voice Heather has! This is a wonderful and uplifting song. Yes, sometimes we feel that we are not loved, but it's simply not true. If no one else, God always loves all of his children.

Reshma Prakash – Found Testimony

Reshma's life has been full on! She was raped, lost her dad, abused and left with nothing but she now has found a loving God! Great and powerful testimony!

Erin O'Donnell - Hold On To Jesus

From Erin's album "No Place So Far" a lovely and meaningful mother/daughter song. Erin wrote the song with her own daughters in mind. Though I am a man myself and have not experienced the maternal emotions expressed in this song, I have witnessed them firsthand, both by observing my wife and other mothers around me. Pretty simple message here: hold on to Jesus, and He'll hold on to you. Good advice, Mom!

Cheri Keaggy - What Matters Most

The title song from Cheri Keaggy's 1997 album. I made this upon request from a fellow YouTuber. Not a real complicated song, it's based on 1 Corinthians 13:13, of course. "Faith, hope, and love, but the greatest of these is love". Love comes in many forms. Human love. Compassion. Giving of time. Missionary work. Loving siblings. Loving parents. Loving pets. And, of course, loving God. Cheri wrote this song (she's written many!)

Natalie Grant - I Believe

What a beautiful Christmas song this is by Natalie Grant! We all know the Christmas story as it's described in the Bible, and how wonderful to believe that it's more than a fable, more than a fairy tale. God came to earth to live among us and to save us. That's what Christmas is all about. Thank you Father for loving us so much that you did this for us.

Twila Paris - Could You Believe

From Twila's 1999 album "True North". A little bit different album for her, a somewhat more progressive style. I'm not sure I interpreted this song correctly; sometimes hard to understand who "you" is referring to here. I interpreted the song as being about sharing the gospel, and witnessing by example. So "you" is a friend who is being ministered to and being led to Christ. Even if I got it wrong, it's a pretty song.

What is a Grandmother?

Some years ago a nine-year-old girl wrote a wonderful essay called "What Is A Grandmother?" And this is what the child said. You're going to love this. She said, "A grandmother is a lady who has no children of her own," which is an interesting definition.

Finding a Balance Between Love & Control

I've often been asked, "Which is more damaging to children? A parenting style that's very authoritarian and rigid, or one that's permissive and loose?" Actually, both these extremes leave their characteristic scars on children, and I really would be hard pressed to say which is worse.

Moms and Sons

You know, many women these days report feeling anxious and insecure about the task of raising their sons. Whether they're single or married, there's just a sense of not being equipped to meet the special challenges of teaching and training young boys. Well, a friend of mine, the late Jean Lush, wrote a wonderful book on the subject appropriately called MOTHERS AND SONS.
