When nine veteran skydivers were preparing for their final jump of the day, their two Cessna planes collided at 12,000 feet. Incredibly, divers from both planes and the pilot of the trail plane managed to open their chutes and land safely on the ground. The pilot of the lead plane landed the second plane safely at the Superior Airport with damage to the propeller and wing.
