Qué es lo que pasará de acuerdo a la profecía del fin del mundo
La Biblia tiene mucho que decir acerca del fin del mundo. Casi todos los libros de la Biblia contienen profecía respecto al final de los tiempos. Hablar sobre todas estas profecías y organizarlas puede resultar difícil. Pero, he aquí un breve sumario de lo que la Biblia declara que pasará al final de los tiempos.

Cristo se llevará del mundo a todos los creyentes “nacidos de nuevo” que son parte de la Iglesia (Los Santos del Nuevo Testamento) en un evento conocido como el Arrebatamiento (1 Tesalonicenses 4:13-18; 1 Corintios 15:51ss.) Ante el Tribunal de Cristo, estos creyentes serán recompensados por sus buenas obras y servicio durante su tiempo en la tierra, o perderán su recompensa por su falta de servicio y obediencia, aunque no la vida eterna (1 Corintios 3:11-15; 2 Corintios 5:10).

El anticristo (la bestia) vendrá con poder y firmará un tratado de paz (pacto) con Israel por siete años (Daniel 9:27).

El aniquilacionismo es la creencia de que los incrédulos no experimentarán un sufrimiento eterno en el Infierno, sino más bien serán “extinguidos o aniquilados” después de la muerte. La creencia del aniquilacionismo es el resultado de un malentendido de una o más de las siguientes doctrinas: (1) las consecuencias del pecado, (2) la justicia de Dios, y (3) la naturaleza del Infierno.

En relación con la naturaleza del Infierno, los aniquilacionistas malentienden el significado del lago de fuego. Obviamente si un ser humano es echado en un lago de lava hirviente, será consumido instantáneamente. Sin embargo, el lago de fuego es una realidad tanto física como espiritual. No es solamente el cuerpo humano el que es echado al lago de fuego; es el cuerpo, el alma y el espíritu humano. Una naturaleza espiritual no puede ser consumida por un fuego físico. Parece que los incrédulos serán resucitados con un cuerpo preparado para la eternidad......
