Every day temptation is all around us, from trying to get us to buy certain things all the way to doing the wrong thing(s) in our lives. With so much temptation in our lives, it can truly overwhelm us. The question is "How do we resist temptation?"

Every time we abandon God's interests to pursue our own we limit ourselves to our own devices. And how well have our own efforts really helped us through the years? As for me, if lined up all my strictly human accomplishments in a row, my little granddaughter could easily step over them.

We all probably know of at least one adrenaline junkie who lives for the thrill of overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Why isn't it possible to become so addicted to living by the power of the Holy Spirit that we seek out opportunities to serve God just so we can watch His strength work in our weakness?
The tactic of the enemy is to smudge up your future in Christ, to make you doubt your future with God. He wants you to be scare to face Jesus when He comes back for you. Listen to this message and allow the Holy Spirit to wipe away the smudges so that your future with God can shine bright in your face.

What Jesus did for us changed our rights, privileges, and responsibilities as God’s children. But these changes go entirely unnoticed by most Christians. And until we understand these changes we will continue to be obsessed with our survival.

Every day and all day long, we are constantly being told who we are based on our outside appearance and/or what we are doing. It is constantly changing and comes to a point that we don't know who we are in life. So the question is who are we?

This Video by James Grocho explains that we are surrounded by numbers: how many friends we have, our age, our IQ, etc. We shouldn't let these numbers define who we are. Instead, we should find our identity in Christ. For teens, this is especially import. It's easy for them to pay attention to number of friends and likes on social media or to define themselves by their grades or athletic scores. Let's remind our youth that God does not see us as a number; He sees us as people that He loves and died for! He knows us all individually!
