How Grief Revealed God's Presence and Strengthened My Faith

My faith has been challenged over the years with the loss of my mother in 2017, and I found that what I thought was a fickle faith and an unstable relationship with God was just my faith being challenged in ways that I hadn't imagined before. I can now say years later, my faith is stronger than ever, and thanks to my mom for that. She left a legacy of love, hope, and light, which she built on her relationship with God and her belief in Heaven.

Meet Lady Wisdom.

In this video, we explore the personification of Lady Wisdom as seen in the Book of Proverbs. Rather than viewing wisdom as a distant or dusty concept, we see her as a vibrant, guiding presence—a divine invitation to live life with purpose and clarity. This portrayal helps us understand that God’s truth isn’t just a list of rules, but a living voice calling us into a deeper relationship with Him through the way we navigate the world. As Sister Sofia explains, Lady Wisdom is remarkably active in our everyday lives. She isn’t hiding away in a sanctuary; she is out in the high places and the busy streets where life happens. Whether it's in the world of business, the halls of government, or a simple walk through our own neighborhoods, wisdom is constantly offering us the insight we need to act with integrity and grace in every situation. The message here is one of accessibility and hope. Wisdom is calling out to all of us, reminding us that sound judgment and a peaceful heart are not reserved for a select few. By tuning our hearts to her voice, we can find the word and grace necessary to transform our daily routines into a path of spiritual growth. It is a powerful reminder that God provides the tools we need to flourish right where we are. This video is part of the ongoing Wisdom Series by Pastor Caleb. How a Childhood Dream Led Me Straight into the Arms of Jesus

My journey started when I was about seven years old.

My best friend's dad was our pastor, and he talked to us girls and told us that we were lost. Well, I didn't understand what that meant as a seven-year-old, but it got me to thinking because up until that time, I just thought people went to heaven because they were good and the bad people went to, well, you know, that other place that kids aren't supposed to talk about. But then when he told us that, it got me thinking about it.

Why I Follow Jesus Every Day

The Promise That Keeps Me Following Jesus Every Day

Here's why I'm a Christian and always will be. The first time I ever walked into a church, at least that I remember, I was around 11 years old, and it was actually the first time I had ever heard somebody talking about their relationship with Jesus. Believe it or not, the guy speaking at that church that day was somebody named Rick Stanley. I don't know where he is now. I don't know what he's doing with his life now, but at the time, he was Elvis Presley's stepbrother.

Pharaoh’s heart remains hard, but God’s plan of salvation shines through the blood of the lamb on every Israelite home. This powerful moment foreshadows Jesus Christ, our Passover Lamb, whose sacrifice delivers us from spiritual death. Even in the darkest night, God provides light, protection, and freedom for His people.

Through their stories, we see how our choices shape our hearts, our character, and our future. God’s power, justice, and mercy are on full display—revealing that every moment of obedience builds strength, and every act of resistance deepens hardness.
