The following passages give background to what God has shown me concerning what will happen soon.
I begin with Habakkuk 1:1,5 (verse 5 is also quoted by Paul in Acts 13:41, but you will also qwant to read verse 40) and 2:2-3. These are given in a context of something bad is coming, never-the-less tha church uses these passages to teach that something good is on the way, usually the one who benefits the most is the pastor.)
Then there is Zephaniah 1:1. To get the background for understanding this verse go to 2 Kings and read about Josiah. Then go back to read about Manasseh:
Josiah: 2 Kings 22:1-2 (3-13); 2 Kings 3:26-27
Manasseh: 2 Kings 21:1-2, 10-12; 2 Chronicles 33:10-14
God lead me to Zephaniah after Hurricane Katrina and here are some verses from that book (You would want to read the entire book) Zephaniah 1:2-3; 2:3; 3:8
