It is always great entertainment to witness young people with talent beyond their years. Prepare to be completely amazed by this video! Watch as these siblings deliver a chilling gospel performance on American Idol.

The Brown Four are four precious siblings, all dressed in their Sunday best, walking onto the stage. They sing acapella to start out the song about how they love Jesus. Their harmonies are tight, and it's clear that they possess a natural gift. These kids are from Memphis, Tennessee, and are an online sensation.

The brother in the front leads the way and sings some of the craziest runs you have ever heard from a boy his age. A guest artist is amazed. All four of them have such style and unity. 

Suddenly, you see a clip of the four kids who are sitting on the steps singing “This Little Light of Mine.” The judges stand and clap for them when they are finished. 

These precious kids are named Daylan, Dania, Diana, and Divion and are proclaiming the gospel as children who are abundantly gifted. Their skillsets and harmonies all point to the Creator. He has blessed them with vocal abilities way beyond their years, and you will be amazed. You will not be able to keep from dancing along. 

As you watch this performance, remember that you, too, can shine your light for Christ. It doesn’t have to be on television to be effective and important. God has a place for all of us to share in His kingdom work, and we can spread His love to those around us.

Prepare for a jaw-dropping performance on The Voice. Carolina Rodriguez and Kirbi have incredible voices, and Lauren Daigle’s “You Say” gets a powerful cover on the popular music show. 

These young women bring such a unique and beautiful style to this audition. Carolina starts out with depth and strength. She is such a fantastic singer with strength and emotion behind her voice. 

Then comes Kirbi, who brings a light tone with such purity and lightness to her voice. As the two begin to sing harmonies, you will be completely blown away. Their skillsets are very complementary to each other. 

You will love the song choice on this global stage: “You Say” by Lauren Daigle. This song presents an excellent opportunity to segue into gospel music within a secular setting. These young women are singing about the hope that Jesus gives to us, even when we know that we are unworthy of His love and forgiveness in our lives. He is our identity.

After this performance, the judges discuss how powerful and stunning it truly was, and how difficult a decision this will be for their coach. Both girls are incredibly gifted; however, only one can continue in the competition. 

One of the sweetest moments is when their coach shares about how they have become good friends through this, and you can see that in the performance. He compliments Kirbi’s rasp at the top and Carolina’s strength right from the start of this performance, particularly in the intensity and confidence she shows with her low notes. He has a challenging time deciding.

The judge chooses Kirbi because of her skill in storytelling, and the two ladies hug. Quickly, Carolina is stolen by another judge to continue in the competition. It is a moment of celebrating two talented young women with unique skills.

You can’t help but laugh and be in awe as you watch this Elvis classic, ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’, that turned into a beautiful instrumental but with a twist! I don’t know about you, but when I clicked on Alexandra’s video, I was expecting a classy piano cover of an Elvis song — maybe something swoony, something soulful, something to make you say, “Well thank ya, thank ya very much.”

What I didn’t expect was to be blessed by what can only be described as The King meets Owlville.

There she was — Alexandra, all grace and professional in her white top, jean skirt, and runners, playing like she had the ghost of Elvis himself tapping his foot backstage. Every note was crisp, passionate, and full of that “hallelujah-in-heels” energy that makes you believe this woman probably practices scales while sipping sweet tea and quoting Chopin.

And then … out of nowhere … an owl.

Not a metaphorical owl. Not a wise-old-soul-kind-of-owl. A literal human owl in a onesie, hitting the xylophone like it was her divine calling. And I’m pretty sure that owl was Alexandra, too, just cloned for maximum fabulousness. I could not help but burst out laughing because it was so comical. 

It was like watching The King of Rock and Roll get a heavenly remix by The Queen of Whooo-sical Arts.

One viewer said it best: “A Queen on the piano, performing a song made popular by the King.”

Another chimed in, “Way better than the original when interpreted by the most beautiful pianist in the world.”

And honestly? They’re not wrong. Alexandra gave us a cover that was equal parts concert hall and comedy gold. If Elvis had seen this, he would’ve said, “You ain’t nothin’ but a hoot dog cryin’ all the time!”

Somewhere, angels are snapping their wings to the beat, and even the owls are saying, “Whooo needs sleep when you can watch this again?”

But as I watched, the audience went still, hanging on every word. The judges’ faces softened, eyes wide, like they’d been caught in the pull of something holy and heartbreakingly human all at once.

Ava didn’t just sing Olivia Newton-John’s classic; she actually breathed life into it. She gave it weight, warmth, and that ache of longing that can’t be faked. There was tenderness in every rise and fall, a tremble that whispered of love that endures even when the world tilts off its axis.

Likely due to the popularity of YouTube and programs such as American Idol, The Voice and America’s Got Talent, covers have exploded in popularity within the last decade or so. Anyone hoping covers would just go away silently and never be heard from again will be sorely disappointed. They are here to stay.

Of course, one of the most popular targets for covers is The Beatles. They are known and beloved worldwide, and their catalogue is full of tunes that everyone almost immediately recognizes. However, covering a Beatles song is a tall order for that reason. Everyone knows those songs and will likely recognize any errors or mistakes.

But when someone can flawlessly perform a Beatles song, it’s a thing of beauty, which is what happened in one clip posted on YouTube. The group, who call themselves REO Brothers, played “Revolution,” and it’s simply fantastic. There isn’t a missed note throughout their entire performance. While they are obviously not The Beatles, this has to be one of the best covers of “Revolution” you will ever hear.

Even those who consider themselves diehard Beatles fans will likely enjoy and appreciate this performance. There isn’t much, if anything, to criticize or correct about their cover of the song that is near and dear to the hearts of many.

You could easily listen to this cover repeatedly and never tire of it.

Musical covers are a time-honored tradition and practice that has likely existed since music first became a thing. There are entire bands dedicated solely to playing the music of one specific band or artist. So, if you’re not a fan of musicians playing tunes originally written, recorded and performed by others, I’ve got some bad news for you.

While it’s abundantly clear that covers are here to stay, they still shouldn’t be carbon copies, mere duplicates of the original. Musicians should implement a fair amount of creativity when performing covers. In one way or another, they should make the song their own, leaving their signature sound on it. Otherwise, there is no reason for the cover to exist. In that case, people will listen to the original version, which they are already familiar with.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one young woman does just that, putting her own spin on Tina Turner’s classic from 1989, “Simply the Best.” It’s an unplugged, acoustic and somewhat slowed-down version of the song many know and love. When it comes to music, the 1970s are closely associated with disco. Now, disco is often a very polarizing and divisive genre and style of music. People seem to either really love it or hate it with a burning passion. There is no middle ground regarding disco.

Make your choice wisely because there is no coming back from this all-important decision. Are you a fan or not? People are waiting, and they must know your answer immediately. The pianist is accomplished and well-versed in piano, possessing great musical dynamics and strength. The bridge will take you to a new place. 

Music is an emotional and spiritual encounter. We can praise Jesus as we experience this work of art. He is glorified in the skills of this young man, and we are blessed to hear it and enter the melody with him.

Whether you are familiar with this song or not, whether you have heard it a million times or this is the first, it will not disappoint. The crescendos and decrescendos have been so masterfully performed that you will feel this song deeply. 

When we rest and imagine alongside the music, it can cause us to reflect on life, seasons, time, nature, and so many other possibilities. May your thoughts as you watch enable you to glorify God and be still and know for a moment in your day. This is absolutely stunning. This young man is incredible.

As this video begins, a little girl introduces herself alongside her brother and sister. She invites a street crowd to listen to her song. The girl says her name very professionally and reveals that she is only 4 years old. She has such confidence and calm in front of a crowd. 

The eldest sister is a famous violin dancer named Karolina Protsenko. You see the brother is doing a great job on the piano for his age, and the little girl is a fantastic singer. As the sweet girl sings, sitting there with a broken arm and a precious face, the crowd is in awe. 

She is only four, and she is singing out these lyrics with such poise. It is a lot of work to simply learn the words to the song, and to also learn the melody, and this precious girl does both!

God created all types of music genres. It is refreshing to hear young people singing timeless songs from previous decades. You will be wholly immersed in what this young preschooler sings. The audience is delighted by her sharing this moment with them, and it is fun being a “fly on the wall.” 

As believers in Jesus, we know that He is love. He tells us that He is perfect love. As we reflect on this song, which speaks of the gift of love, may it point us upward to His eternal love for us. May we love others well today because of His love for us.

The Gardiner brothers wowed with an Irish twist on Michael Jackson's tune "Smooth Criminal." The supremely talented brother duo demonstrated their fancy footwork to an Irish cover of the classic song from the late King of Pop. Many people can dance. They have been blessed with smooth and fluid moves perfect for the dance floor. Some people are just born with that talent, appearing as if they are naturals and entirely in their element when it comes to dancing. All they need is some good music to groove to, and they can take care of the rest.

Unfortunately, I'm not one of those people. I'll admit I was not given a gift for dancing. I understand where I belong, and it most certainly is not out on the dance floor. That does not bother me in the slightest. I am perfectly content, as I'm sure other people who also lack the kind of coordination and confidence the dance floor requires are. Watching from the sidelines isn’t so bad!

The Gardiner brothers are two people who have a natural talent for dance and have repeatedly shown that with their many videos posted on social media. In one of their latest clips, the gifted siblings strut their stuff with a highly choreographed number to Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal." But this is not just any version of the 1987 tune; it's infused with an Irish sound and feel.

The video's opening moments mention that the song is performed on a fiddle. I've never heard the tune performed that way, and I have to say that while it is different and a significant departure from the norm, I rather enjoy it.

Regarding covers, it’s always best to stick to the hits.

Now, when it comes to the song ‘You’re Still The One’ by Shania Twain, the piano-driven country pop ballad was recorded for Shania’s third studio album titled Come On Over. It was written by Shania and her then-husband and producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange. In 1999, the song garnered four Grammy nominations, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year, and it won Best Country Song and Best Female Country Vocal Performance.

Musical covers are not going anywhere. No, I’m not talking about covers with musical notes or song lyrics sewn onto them, although having one of them would be pretty cool, too. What I’m talking about are bands and musicians performing songs originally written and performed by others.

Covers are a popular, time-honored tradition and practice that has likely been happening since music has been a thing. Who doesn’t want to hear another musician’s interpretation of a beloved tune? Some of them are great, and on the rarest of occasions, even surpass the original, while others are horrible and should not be thought of or spoken of again. A clip posted on YouTube is of a cover song everyone knows and loves, and it's one that you’ll return to repeatedly.
 
The Feelgood Orchestra took a swing at “Never Gonna Give You Up,” and they connected in a big way, knocking it completely out of the park. This is an outstanding cover.
 
One could argue that they were setting themselves up for failure because the song is so widely known. That tune spans generations. You know the song and lyrics even if you aren’t aware of it. The song even spawned a popular saying/internet prank. Have you ever been tricked into clicking on a link only to be taken to the “Never Gonna Give You Up” video? Well, you’ve been rick-rolled, of course, named after Rick Astley, the singer of that tune.

Dance is an art form that often requires years of hard work, perseverance and study. It’s arguably the most challenging of the art forms. So much so that even after putting all that time and effort into becoming a better dancer, one may still only be mildly passable.

However, while some may invest a lot of energy and time into becoming better dancers, most people don’t, and that is perfectly fine, too. For most people, dance is about feeling the music, moving to the beat and having a good time. Let’s be honest: It’s nearly physically impossible to keep from dancing when a select few songs are played. Whenever these handful of songs begin, you know that people will be out on the dance floor in a matter of seconds.

A clip posted on YouTube captures people dancing around in a Walmart location to one of those tunes: Earth, Wind & Fire’s “September.” It doesn’t matter what month it is; if that song plays, people will surely be dancing.

The young man in the video, who is joyously dancing around in the store, finds his way to several people and gets them to dance around with him. Even those who initially appeared reluctant and apprehensive to show everyone their moves eventually came around and hopped around to the beat of the classic song.

One Walmart employee even temporarily joined in on the fun, at least for a few seconds.
The guy dancing in the video shows how easy it is to spread a little joy and happiness, which he did for everyone in the vicinity.

Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” gets a violin makeover by a talented teen. She played the classic and beloved tune beautifully, making it a rendition that you’ll return to repeatedly. Watch the short and delightful clip to listen to her jaw-dropping cover of “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac.

When it comes to music, it really doesn’t get much bigger than Fleetwood Mac. They are a legendary rock band, responsible for some of the most iconic tunes of all time. Due mainly to Steve Nicks’ distinct and unique voice, their unmistakable sound is recognizable from a mile away. Surprisingly, they remain fairly active even after decades together, playing shows throughout the country and world.

Fleetwood Mac has an endless catalogue of songs, with one hit after another. “Go Your Own Way,” “Rhiannon,” “Gypsy” and “Landslide” are just a few of their tunes, which are instantly recognizable and loved by millions all over the world. Not only do people love listening to them play their hits, but many also enjoy covers of their songs, including one by a gifted young woman.

In the clip posted on YouTube, Karolina Protsenko performs Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams.” But instead of singing the words originally written and performed by Stevie Nicks, Karolina discards the familiar lyrics entirely. Instead, she delivers an awe-inspiring violin instrumental. It’s a lovely version of this tune from 1977.

While everyone is used to the lyrics being sung out by one of the most legendary singers in music history, there is still plenty to love about Karolina’s version of “Dreams.” Her performance is spot-on, nailing every note. Even the most ardent and rabid Fleetwood Mac fans will appreciate this instrumental version.

Also, no one will miss the lyrics not being sung because more than likely, they’ll add their own vocal track and sing along as Karolina expertly plays her violin.
