“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,” 1 Peter 1:3
Victory Over Death a powerful original Christian Easter anthem by Malachi Ben-David that proclaims the triumph of Jesus Christ over the grave. This scripture-rich worship track moves from the garden’s heavy darkness and the sealed tomb to the stone rolled away, declaring that death has lost its sting and every believer rises with the risen King.
Rooted in Matthew 28 and 1 Corinthians 15, the song transforms personal pain, betrayal, storms, and struggles into resurrection hope. It celebrates the empty tomb, the power of the cross, and eternal victory through Jesus’ resurrection.
This song is a reminder of a truth we all need to hold onto…
no matter where you’ve been, no matter what you’ve done — nothing can separate you from the love of God.
I’m not the most talented musician in the room, but I’m using what God gave me to share His truth.
If this message speaks to you, I pray it encourages your heart today.

“Neither death nor life… nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God.” – Romans 8:38–39
“If Ever I Loved Thee” is a quiet, deeply personal response to the overwhelming mercy of Christ.
Set against the backdrop of His suffering, death, burial, and resurrection, the song reflects on a simple but piercing truth: Jesus endured what looked like madness to the world—though He was completely innocent—so that we might receive the mercy we could never earn.
He stood silent before His accusers.
He suffered without guilt.
He chose the cross… for us.
And in that moment, what appeared to be defeat became the greatest act of love in human history.
“If Ever I Loved Thee” is not a declaration of perfect devotion, but a humble offering—an acknowledgment that any love we have for Him exists only because He first loved us.
It is a song of surrender.
A song of gratitude.
A song for anyone who has come to realize the depth of His mercy.

There Are Moments in Life That Move Us
“To ‘be moved’ isn’t about having more. It’s about noticing more. We wrote this song about the kind of drives where no one’s on their phone. Where the conversation just unfolds. About backseat laughter. About choosing the long way home just to keep the conversation going. Where the sunshine hits just right and somehow a regular Tuesday feels unforgettable.”
They continue: “Those are the moments that move us. Having our whole family in this video felt like the only honest way to tell the story. Because the people you see in the backseat are the same ones who inspired the song in the first place. Take the long way home. Be moved.”
Mat and Savanna Shaw’s "Be Moved" is a song that will uplift you and remind you of what truly matters. How simple time with family, when there is nothing to distract us from each other, can be such sweet moments that fill our souls.

‘How Great Thou Art’ Originated in Sweden
As for the background of ‘How Great Thou Art,’ the journey of how the song came to be is quite interesting. The hymn originated in Sweden in 1886, long before it reached the United States.
Author and editor Carl Boberg originally wrote ‘How Great Thou Art’ as a poem. Later, those words were set to a Swedish folk tune. Then in 1907, Manfred von Glehn translated it into German, and five years later, a Russian pastor named Ivan Prokhanov created a Russian adaptation.
Then, in the early 1920s, Rev. and Mrs. Stuart Hine left their home in England and went to Poland as missionaries. That’s when they heard the Russian adaptation of ‘How Great Thou Art.’ Reverend Hine decided to write the English lyrics and make his own arrangement of the Swedish melody. After many iterations, we have the beloved ‘How Great Thou Art’ hymn we know today.
We hope you enjoyed listening to this amazing version of “How Great Thou Art” today!
