Help that Comes from the Lord
There are nights when life feels unbearably heavy. Responsibilities pile up, worries spin endlessly through our minds, and exhaustion settles deep into our hearts. In those moments, it’s easy to forget how powerful and present God truly is.
Psalm 121 reminds us to lift our eyes higher. The psalmist looks toward the hills and remembers that help comes not from personal strength, but from the Lord — the Maker of heaven and earth.
Tonight’s prayer invites us to release the burdens we were never meant to carry alone. God is not overwhelmed by your life, your worries, or your future. His strength is limitless, and His care for you never runs dry.
Scripture
“My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” — Psalm 121:2
Prayer
Father, tonight I lay down every burden I’ve been carrying. You see every fear, responsibility, and anxious thought weighing on my heart. Forgive me for trying to carry life in my own strength. Help me rest peacefully in the truth that You are my help and my provider. Calm my mind, renew my spirit, and remind me that I am never alone. In Jesus’ name, amen.
